Rooms need upgrading but staff and food loverly
Pros:

The staff were great, the restaurant and bar area lovely, food was very good

Cons:

The room 16 was dated, safe did not work, heating did not work, it was windy the first night and windows rattled and made such a noise, unable to sleep.

Pros:

Helpful at reception. Nice large room with everything needed.

Cons:

Breakfast was nice but porridge and meal brought out together. Meal got colder while eating porridge.
I was waiting for my partner's porridge to come out and get my cereal, but my meal came out with her porridge, so missed out on cereal. Just seemed like what was easy for them and not for customer.

Lovely hotel and staff but the bedrooms are tired.
Pros:

The staff were fantastic. All of them. So friendly and warm.

Cons:

Everything was lovely except the bedroom environment. The curtains were shabby and didn’t pull together properly. The decor was dated and cheap, other than the two armchairs which were lovely. The bedding was poor and the pillows were old and flat.

Great location for visiting the RAF bases but could do with some updating/maintenance
Pros:

The staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. The food was fabulous and very reasonably priced.

Cons:

Our room was dated and a bit tatty with quite bad condensation and mould on the windows.

A gem of a place
Pros:

The room was large very clean and well decorated, comfortable bed and I liked the little touch of a dish of sweets in the room.

Excellent customer service
Pros:

Breakfast and dinner were delicious with substantial menu choices.
All staff were friendly, helpful and made you feel important. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

Slight issue with bathroom shower and towel rail but this was very promptly resolved by manager Jon Crisp.
