Good hotel if you don’t mind uncleanliness
Pros:

Nice bathroom and bedding

Cons:

The carpets are clearly dirty especially from previous guests that don’t take their shoes off at the door. The hotel does not provide slippers so unless you wanna step out the shower onto dirty carpets you have to lay towels down all the way to the bed.

The room I recently stayed in (Room 9) had very tired facilties. The shower would switch between too hot or cold. The ironing board was broken and then there was a power outage in the morning. It was not explained to anyone what was happening. This was very frustrating as I did not have the basic amenities available to get a warm drink or dry my hair. Non of the lights were working so had to use a flashlight.

Pros:

A good location to get into reading quickly and easily. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Cons:

Tricky having to heft luggage through doors and up stairs.
I would have liked the option of a bath but the shower was nice and big

lovely place to visit
Pros:

The food was really good and tasted great. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, especially the soup and the beef burgers they were tender and juicy. The AC temperature was comfortable, and the food was very good for the price.

Spotted water on the floor and a missing clean spoon, but overall I’m satisfied and would be happy to come again. Thank you.

Best Hotel for Business Travellers
Pros:

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. Compared to my last hotel booked through Booking.com, where my requests were not met, this place made me feel valued from the moment I arrived. The reception staff were kind, helpful, and gave me all the information I needed.

The only small issue was that the room felt a bit cold, as the heater wasn’t very strong, but apart from that everything was good.

I loved the hotel atmosphere. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the management was well organised. The food was amazing — especially dinner. The fish cake with hollandaise sauce was delicious, and breakfast was good too. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained.

Terrible Hotel, I have stayed in multiple holiday inn’s throughout the country and never had a problem but from start to finish, this has got to be the worst one in the group.

I Looked online and found this hotel for £72 with bed and breakfast for 2 adults and 1child, or for £84 more dinner included, so I paid £156 for the Dinner bed & breakfast option. basically £28 per head more for Dinner option.

We arrived at the hotel, entered room 23, paint peeling from around the floor, the room was dirty, it smelt of damp, it looks like the shower must be leaking into the bedroom, as the carpets were slightly wet.
We unpacked and went to the restaurant for dinner. We were told we cannot order from the normal menu as we have a 2 course set menu, which was fair enough. we got the set menu and ordered the small nachos and 10oz Bacon chop. whilst we were sat down we also looked at the normal menu. Surprisingly the food is cheaper ordering from the main menu, what ever you order it more expensive ordering from the set menu than it is on the actual menu. We ordered the small nachos which were priced at £6.50 and the Bacon chop was £14.95 which totalled £21.45 far less than the £28 more we paid per head for the additional dinner option. I went to reception and explained the discrepancy to which the receptionist explained their is nothing she can do as we paid the price.
Anyone thinking of staying here don’t, if you are going to book, don’t go for the dinner, bed & breakfast option as its cheaper to buy it straight from the menu.
After dinner we went to bed. In the middle of the night we both started to itch and woke up in the morning with bites on ourselves, the beds must be riddled with bed bugs or some sort of creatures.
We then went for breakfast, the worst breakfast I’ve ever had, the black pudding has been cooked that long its dry as ash, the eggs are like rubber and if you want bacon wait a good 10 mins for it to be replenished, the only good thing about the hotel is the receptionist not charging us the £15 per night to park your car fee, thanks

A pleasant low-key hotel giving good value for cost, and with a friendly staff.
Pros:

The facilities were generally clean, comfortable and pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Parking was easy.

Cons:

It's a somewhat isolated location with a bit of a drive to restaurants or grocery shopping. Food in the restaurant for meals other than breakfast was so-so.

My stay was mind blowing. I was thrilled with everything Holiday Inn offered
Pros:

Firstly, the receptionist i met was awesome, friendly, well trained (if any), so polite and with very strong welcome note/gesture 🙌.

Secondly, the room beat my expectations, thought it wasn't gonna be that exclusive.

Generally, i am sure coming again, this time with my whole family for vacation. Hope to get some good discounts.

Cons:

I never saw any for the time i stayed anyway.
