Best hotel breakfast cook!
Pros:

Wonderful breakfast buffet with fresh cooked options.
I enjoyed two perfectly poached eggs that were superior to some we were served on the Queen Mary 2 while crossing the Atlantic!
Comfortable rooms with reasonable prices and very hospitable and helpful staff.
Lisa in the kitchen was perfection itself.

Very comfortable stay at a friendly hotel.
Pros:

Good spacious comfortable room, good breakfast with lots of choices and very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Our bed request on booked was not provided on arrival. We had to change room to meet our requirement.

Entspannter Aufenthalt
Pros:

Zimmer waren geräumig und gut klimatisiert/beheizt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Lage direkt am Kanal hat die morgendlichen Laufrunden bereichert.

Cons:

Bedden waren verschrikkelijk hard. Alle drie van ons hebben niet kunnen slapen.
Glutenvrije opties voor brood bij ontbijt op het kaartje in slaapkamer waren niet beschikbaar tijdens ons ontbijt. Ons dochtertje heeft geen normale ontbijt kunnen eten hier door

Glad it was for only one night

Cons:

The food was poor quality bit cooked well - both evening and breakfast
Unable to connect to the wi-fi
TV in bar area was very glitchy
Staff took a £50 pre-authoristion which was taken from the account - I was not allowed tocharge against this and the money was not refunded when I departed

Most fabulous staff you will never meet and such a warm welcome
Pros:

Staff are absolutely fabulous. They really take our stay from something average to an excellent experience. I still maintain what I say that this particular hotel sets the standards. From the warm reception at the door to the individuals who provide room service and clean the rooms I haven't met kinder people.

Cons:

Unfortunately when the hotel is busy it's very noisy. We haven't been when it was busy before. Feels like the walls are made of cardboard. We could hear every word said in the neighboring rooms, as a result very little sleep. Difficult with a dog as he wouldn't settle. No air conditioning made the room very warm and sticky.

Great room, even better staff
Pros:

Superb members of staff. We had the best welcome they could have given us. The staff here really make our stay worthwhile. They are so kind to our collie.
The room was in a quieter area of the hotel which was great for us as we slept well with minimal disturbances. It was a smaller room with a larger bed which was very comfortable.

Cons:

Could do with more charging points for phones.

Dog friendly hotel, friendly staff, fresh smell throughout.
Pros:

Really friendly staff, clean hotel always smells fresh. Lovely drinks area to sit with company you travel with and some games in reception for the family.

Quiet location located near canal and easy access to motorway.

Very dog friendly with biscuits and water in reception but the rooms are so clean you wouldn't know dogs have been in there. Also lots of space with grass around hotel to toilet the dogs.

Only issue is really low pressure on the shower and temp a bit tricky to control but given price of a night's stay, can't complain.

Beds really comfortable and rooms are a nice size. I am now a returning customer with my 3 dogs when there's a dog agility show at newbury showground as its only 20 minutes away!
