There was so many people at the hotel, we were unable to eat breakfast.
Elevators took too long to move people around. Food area filled with people who were not eating causing issues.
Great location and as always very clean and comfortable.
Elevator was acting up.
The door to our room wouldn't shut easy and had to be almost slammed to shut.
Loved the location and very easy to travel to OU from this location. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area.
It feels like it needs to be updated. The furniture seems dated, but for what we needed it worked out.
Property was right across the street from the basketball tournament we were in town for. Room had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens.
There were so many occupants for the weekend that it caused 2 of the 3 elevators to malfunction. This led to longer wait times for the 1 working elevator, hauling luggage down the stairs or some using the service elevator. We were unaware of a dog show that was being hosted and a lot of the hotel occupants had multiple pets throughout the property. Room furniture/decor seems outdated. Smart TVs in the room were a plus. Had to shut the door with force; seemed to be not aligned properly. Door to the linen service room was wide open; door was broken off the hinge. The only laundry room was located on the 6th floor and was not available due to maintenance.
I loved the open concept of the house. It was really nice.
I don’t like when I was choosing the hotel it said $349 for the night when I completed everything it came to 407 and I was charged 447 when I was checking in. I understand there was a $14 fee for parking, but I don’t understand what the higher price was for it cost me almost an extra hundred dollars after I chose my room.
friendly staff, easy check in, Location and cleanliness
I did not find anything to dislike
Everything
Charging for parking and having to park my truck myself
chambre vaste et literie confortable, chambre et Hôtel très propre
Les omelettes faites à la demande
Le reste du buffet était standard
déco un peu vieillotte et qui a été bien usagée, des imperfections avec du papier peint qui se décolle en bas des murs
Very polite and professional staff. Room was spacious and clean. Very nice place.
Breakfast
Shower head was faulty
Absolutely love this hidden sweet spot. The atmosphere is bright. Staffers Tina Marie snd Meagan were so inviting, friendly and fun. The best drink is caramel macchiato... a vanilla based with caramel!!! The espresso was not too bitter, Not too sweet but perfectly balance. And the blueberry muffin was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended. Checking them out.
First let me state that as a Diamond Member we only stay within Hilton. Embassy Suites is one of our favorites, some locations are better than others. This location overall is way above the median particularly with check in and receiving Diamond status benefits. Our room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Breakfast was superior with everything being fresh, abundant and staff going out of their way to ensure hotel guests enjoyed the food. The evening reception and bar service was the very opposite of all these things.
Clean
Nice beds
Good location
The following is what I replied to hotel management:
"I'm torn on giving less than a 5. After spending 3 nights at the Embassy Suites San Antonio Airport, we were really looking forward to staying here. Our only negative at SA was the room layout was a bit awkward in the bar area.
The room layout here is much better. Although, the lighting in the bathroom was too dim for my wife to get ready. She also mentioned that the vanity table lamp shade needed serious dusting.
The breakfast was disappointing. The young blonde girl (9:00 am 4/20) acted as though she would love to have been anywhere else. I asked for jalapeños and got none, or so little I couldn't find them.
Coffee at breakfast is the most important thing.
There were no sleeves for the paper coffee cups (hot!).
In SA we had ceramic cups. Disappointed there were no flavored creamer pumps unlike SA.
Food quality on the bar was good.
So, I ask you. Given that I am a fan of Embassy Suites, how would you rate our stay?"
Also, at check-in the hotel clerk gave me an orange parking pass to be displayed on my dash, but she neglected to inform me of the $14.00 per night charge to park in their lot...outside. The morning clerk waived the charge. At least San Antonio let me know upfront it was $10.00 per night. Still silly.
San Antonio also had a FREE happy hour from 5:30 to 7:00. We arrived late so couldn't have used it any way, but still...
OH...and the biggest kicker is it was more expensive than San Antonio. SMH
