Great breakfast. Loved the walk-in shower, but the rainhead shower? Need a hand-held option.
Bed way too high and I a semi-handicapped after back surgery. Way too soft. We were very uncomfortable.
It was clean and friendly.
It was the only hotel in years that I have been to that didn't have coffee and a coffee pot in the room.
Check in took a long time because “We have a new system and it’s hard to figure out.” Elevator wasn’t working properly and had a loud clunking noise. Bathroom mirror light didn’t work. Lampshade on light next to bed was missing. Just a bare lightbulb. Dog hair on the carpet. No in room coffee maker. Air conditioner sounded like a 18 wheeler and there were loud people inside and outside all night long. Unacceptable for a Holiday Inn Express.
Broken light in bathroom, no tv in front of the sofa, big hole in sofa, no coffee maker in the room! When I inquired at the front desk about a tv in the living room he simply stated our rooms only have one tv. Kind of defeats the purpose of a suite, wanting to watch tv while sitting on the sofa.
I inquired about a coffee maker and was told management did away with those in the rooms because they have the brewer machines in the lobby. Well then management needs to update their website and the pictures of their rooms that clearly show a coffee maker in the room!
I also said that the light on my mirror was falling apart and half didn’t work. I received an I am sorry sir
Perhaps two stars is too good of a rating. Definitely not worth the price of a suite at all. Go elsewhere
Awesome breakfast!
All good!
We stay at Holiday Inn Express often. We actually stayed at this hotel 2 years ago. This time, 2/27/1026, was a disappointment. After arriving in the room, we noticed a dirty washcloth in the tub. In addition, there were no clean washcloths in the bathroom. I went to the front desk to report the issues and was given two clean washcloths. No apology for the oversight or for the dirty washcloths. Later in the evening when I started to get in the shower there was no hot water! It was lukewarm at best but not warm enough to shower. Same issue with the lack of hot water, so no shower on this stay. Unacceptable in my opinion.
I would have given higher but unable to call them directly. I lost an ear ring at front door area. I tried 6 times calling- chatted with ING and was told I’d receive call back but as of two days later no call back! I would like a contact direct to hotel. I prob won’t stay at this location when passing thru again due to no return call and no ability to contact hotel directly. I call number and get hung up every time when I select front desk option.
The bed slept great, and nice pillows.
The breakfast has good biscuits and gravy; however, my complaint in this is NO ONE eats or likes COLD MUFFINS. Please stop serving muffins COLD!
Otherwise I would give them higher rating but there should be a person to answer phone at some point. Not a person in another country.
Nothing
Our door didn’t lock , looked like it had been kicked in . The arm lock was broken , hanging by one piece of medal . When you shut the door anyone could walk right in . Didn’t need a key!!
Told the desk band they said “ ok we will put in a matienance order!!?!
We had 2 lights next to our beds that had no shades?? We couldn’t turn them on because they would blind us!!
The breakfast was pretty bad ! Out of pancake mix so they didn’t serve that . Not much fresh fruit . Pretty sad breakfast . Our shower had black specks of dirt all over the floor , so I had to wash it when we got there. Worst holiday inn we have ever stayed in .
Location of the hotel
Pool was not working, big let down.
This has been our go to hotel when traveling for years. This will absolutely be our last stay. First I will say the check in ladies have always been great. That is where the positive stops. Last year the lock on the adjoining room door was broken. We overlooked that since we were just staying overnight. This year however the room is dirty. The bathroom is disgusting. There were no towels in the bathroom. Which we would not have used the shower anyway because it’s dirty. Nothing has been cleaned in this room for a while. Dust is thick everywhere. If we had not been so exhausted we would have left and looked for a different hotel.
The rooms are clean, but the hotel is old. The worst was breakfast, the fresh fruit was black bananas, orange juice was orange water, no gravy for biscuts, just hot water, cold potatos, oatmeal look like it had been heated from days ago, all crusty. Manager on duty had no idea what was going on with the breakfast, the guy must have been sleeping on the job. The hotel is owed and run by a private group and only uses the Holiday Inn logo. I would stay away from this place.
I had a terrible experience at this hotel and the staff was very rude.
the front desk personnel was extremely rude. I kept being told my room was not available and she would not give me a time that it would become available. I was in town for a concert and I had to get ready in the lobby because my room didn’t become available until 5:30pm. Then the room had a water leak and broken tile and the adjoining room door lock was broken. awful experience.
The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.
The finish was starting to peel off on the bathtub.
No internet, very minimal accommodation in room. TV, towel, small fridge and microwave.....that's it. I get that businesses have to economize but this honestly reminds me of boot camp in the military. On a business trip with no internet is a killer.
