Location and staff
Room was tired , carpets in hallway threadbare in places
Convenience of hotel location
Better food options
Fabulous central location and rooms big and spacious.
Nothing
The staff were all friendly and charming. From the desk to the bar and restaurant. The hotel smelt lovely and my room, bed and pillows were all very comfortable.
Bathroom. Needs updatig
Location
Bathroom was dated, shower fixtures fell off the wall and mould around the bath
Nice view over Albert Dock.
Leonardo Hotel forced me to pay a £100 deposit for a late booking. When I demanded the refund the following day, they said housekeeping needed to inspect the room, which was fine. However, they were not available until after 9. I needed to leave the hotel before then for a work commitment, so it was not resolved. I still don’t know why a deposit was required for a late minute booking, why I should treated differently to someone who booked a day in advance. The staff had no idea either.
Quiet comfortable clean room basic with what we needed as a base for 3 day city break.
Only thing disappointing was our room key card didn't work each time arriving at room but replaced at reception easily.
My Favourite Hotel
None so far
Location
Price of food and alcohol… but not hotels fault … this is country wide
Nice rooms, bathroom was dated and had a chip on the sink
We stayed for 2 nights, first was perfect, but the second night the guests were slamming doors and aruging most of the night! Luckily my daughter is a deep sleeper.
This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel and it never disappoints me, the rooms are beautiful and open, especially our room 552 it has the arena, the big wheel and Albert dock view from our window.
There is nothing I would change although the main light in our room 552 didn’t work we used the Lamps and it was grand.
Ann in reception was exceptional when I needed help and a hug.
Did not eat breakfast, only had a cup of tea. But food looked fine.
Very near hop on hop off city tour bus which was excellent.
Lovely city. Ubers readily available.
The weather!
Really no downsides. Value for money busy, clean hotel . Not 5 star but not paying 5 star.
Lovely hotel and great location.
