Extremely disappointed with this stay. I was charged for bottled waters from the room that I never touched. I brought my own full case of Aquafina into the room, which would be obvious on hotel cameras, yet the hotel still insists on charging me.
I’ve spent three days trying to get this incorrect charge removed and have gotten nowhere. To make matters worse, I’ve been unable to speak with management at all—no callbacks, no accountability, no resolution.
This feels like the hotel is intentionally getting over on guests and hoping they’ll give up over a few dollars. It’s not about the amount, it’s about the principle and the complete lack of customer service. I won’t be staying here again and would caution others to double-check their bill carefully.
Our numero uno place to stay!! Especially due to Madisen at the front desk and Beth at the food and beverage area!!! We do like the beds too!
Except for the LOVELY assistant manager at HGI who apologized many times to me after I checked out on Dec 20 and the FRIENDLY woman who fixed my breakfast, I would consider STAYING AT ANOTHER HOTEL for several reasons. Lots of TRAFFIC getting to hotel on service road, hotel needs to REMODEL....very DATED rooms (but they were clean), FRONT DESK LADY (Rochelle,I think was her name) when checking in & out on Dec 19-20 around 1pm was NOT FRIENDLY & WELCOMING..did NOT SMILE!!, was NOT at front desk when I came in but saw her on cell in back (did not thank me for being a Hilton Honors Diamond member & didn't remember to give me the water & snack) and generally gave me an UNWELCOMING impression, PUDDLES OF WATER near electrical cords by the old, dated machines in FITNESS GYM and treadmill & elliptical could NOT use TV on these machines! and CONSTRUCTION WORK on new Druey Hotel right next to hotel!!!
Rooms are very clean. 9miles from carnival port. The staff is amazing Kisha served us breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. Shonta was cleaning but stopped to help us. Will definitely stay here again if in Mobile AL.
Sue made my stay incredible, she is the embodiment of what hospitality should be. Kind, welcoming and just overall a great person. I've stayed all over the country and her service has honestly been top tier. I wish I could have a Sue everywhere I stay! The hotel is amazing as well but when you have service like this it just makes your stay so much better!
This place should be held accountable for false advertisement. Noyhing like the photos. Shows as OLD and rundown. Check in was fine but room was not. My wife and I do not trust any hotel room to be clean so we take saniyation wipes and lysol every time. The sink counter top was full of hais where it looked like an electric shaver had been used. Its a top that you would not see those small hairs so the sink had been cleaned but the counter had not. Tub botton looks exceptionally dirty and the drain is rusty. The light on the desk is rusty also. They have a coffee maker and coffee for you to use but there are 2 bottle of water there to use also. Clearly priced at $3 per bottle. First and last time at a Hilton. Holiday Inn or Laquinta for us from now on. There was a couple at the dest checking out that were saying the exact same things as this. Just glad I didnt pay $180 a night like him.
It was in and out but overall nice
It only took 1 incident to turn my whole trip to a disappointing one. What's the point if do not disturb signs with checkout being at 12 noon?? But yet housekeeping busted straight in my room and lied about it. There was clearly something shady about the entire situation. It still doesn't sit well with me even after talking to management.
Hotel is consistent and room was clean. Some of the dumbbells in the gym are worn or missing. I did digital check in/out. Digital key worked well. I have stayed in the same hotel/room on 2 different stays over a 2 week span. Housekeeping did not come either time during a 3 night stay. I told the front desk that I don’t care about my room not being cleaned during a 3 night stay, I just need to understand expectations to ensure I have towels. Only feedback in this is to manage the expectations that are set. Overall positive experience.
Everything was great
The property was clean & well kept. The staff was friendly & helpful. My ony suggestion would be to clean the stain in the bath tub for room 201.
Great location
Clean room, Staff was great to deal with.
Nice staff
This property is somewhat difficult to get to. It’s on an access road with limited places to enter. It was challenging to go out to dinner. Upon entering there was a party in a conference room with really loud rap music playing and people milling about. Not very welcoming… the lobby looked dirty and unkempt. Our first room was shabby. Cracks in the sink and floor, chips in the tub (poorly painted) and rust stains. There were very loud people above us, loud music, yelling and doors slamming. We called the front desk to complain and they switched us to a new room on a different floor, at the end of a hall. It was a beautiful room.- all newly remodeled and pristine! It makes me wonder why that room wasn’t given to us in the first place!!
The lady that checked me in late last night was fantastic, she needs to be given a raise. I'll definitely be coming back to this property again when I'm in Mobile, the staff was great, clean rooms, convenient location.
Located in a very convenient location for going to the airport and my place of business. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very outdated. The bathroom was especially in need of renovation. The tub had "soft spots" that felt like might crack at any point. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lacking in that "eggs over easy" came out looking like raw eggs. The yogurt with fruit was good.
Elevator mat was very dirty and needed vacuuming.
I’ve stayed here several times and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff takes good care of everyone, especially Tiffany at the bar. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but there is good food available right here for dinner. Breakfast is made to order. They recently added new EV chargers which I also appreciate.
Staff was very friendly. Hotel was nice and clean.
