Pros:

La posizione di sicuro fa da padrona.

Cons:

Camere con aria condizionata molto rumorosa, telefono per chiamare la reception non funzionante.
Carino il restyling con oggetti di design ma le rifiniture non sono curate nei dettagli.

Disappointing stay with too many avoidable issues to justify the price.
Pros:

The hotel is in a prime location. Right in the middle of marina del cantone, facing the beach. the view from the room was great. breakfast was also nice and fresh with lots of variety.

Cons:

Sadly, a few things weren't quite right during our stay, and because of them I don't think we'll be returning.

When we first arrived, the room we were given had a very strong unpleasant smell. To the hotel's credit, they moved us to another room straight away. Unfortunately, the second room had its own issue: the door wouldn't lock, so we had to call someone to fix that too.

At first the room seemed clean, but when we used the shower we discovered that barely any water came out. The shower head was almost completely blocked by a thick layer of limescale, so once again we had to call maintenance.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the parking.

Parking isn't included and comes at an additional cost, which is already quite expensive. You're asked to reserve your space in advance through an app, but because we didn't yet know which hire car we'd be getting, we couldn't provide the exact dimensions. On top of that, the app doesn't allow reservations before 3pm. When we called the hotel, we were initially told to park outside and pay by the hour until we could access the hotel parking. Only after we complained were we allowed to park around lunchtime, which seemed like a perfectly reasonable request in the first place.

Things got even more frustrating after check-in. Just as we were about to head to the beach, we were told that our car was around half a metre longer than expected and that we'd need to pay an additional fee to park it. Considering we were already paying a premium for parking, this felt unreasonable.

The final straw came a couple of days later. As the hotel became busier over the weekend, we found our car parked outside on the street. When I questioned this, I was told they also use outdoor spaces when the hotel is busy.

At that point I couldn't understand what I was actually paying for.

Cons:

Camere da rinnovare, non è pensabile che in un 4 stelle nel bidè non funzioni l’acqua calda; non avendo servizio spiaggia , l’ingresso in piscina andrebbe inserito nel prezzo

Family staycation June 2026
Pros:

Location and staff. It's walking distance to the beach and a couple of restaurants. The air-condition was great especially after coming back from the beach where it the heat is intense.

Cons:

Paying $20 to use the pool. I guess it's okay cuz it was consumable but not so great if i just wanted to swim. The pool was not well maintained. My son loved that he could turn on the bubbles; but, the color of the water was not so appealing. It was borderline green. The only saving grace was that the food and drinks were good.
