Cleanliness
9.3
Multiple guests repeatedly praised extremely clean rooms and housekeeping; isolated issues reported (smell of smoke in one room, an initially dirty room and occasional missed liners), but overall cleanliness is a strong positive.
Service
9.6
Predominantly very positive mentions of friendly, helpful front desk and standout housekeeping staff (named employees and late-checkout assistance); a small number of comments noted unfriendly staff or inconvenient room swap, but service is overall excellent.
Location
9.4
Guests cited convenient placement (walking distance to Walmart, easy access off the interstate) and a quiet setting; occasional freight train noise was noted but generally not bothersome to most reviewers.
Room Quality
8.6
Beds are described as very comfortable and rooms spacious; several maintenance issues reported (shower drain/low pressure, sink stopper, blind, thermostat not adjustable) and one smoke smell — good room comfort but some repair issues lowered the score slightly.
Amenities
9.2
In-room amenities (hot water, TV, general room fittings) and easy check-in were praised; breakfast amenities generally strong though some guests noted lack of regular coffee and repetitive packaged omelette offerings.
Value for Money
9.5
Multiple guests called this a favorite budget stay and highlighted comfort, cleanliness, and helpful staff for the price — strong perceived value overall.
Food and Beverage
9.1
Breakfast received frequent positive mentions (eggs, sausage, helpful breakfast attendant); minor negatives around frozen/packaged omelettes and occasional missing regular coffee lowered the score slightly.
Overall Experience
8.9
Overall sentiment is very positive — many guests report a great, quiet stay with comfortable beds and helpful staff; a few operational/maintenance annoyances and isolated service hiccups moderate the overall score.

Pros:

Staff not very friendly, first room was dirty when asked to have it cleaned they switched us to a different room, it should of been an easy exchange but we got a handicapped room.

Wonderful staff, comfy beds, and super clean rooms
Pros:

All I can say is WOW. My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. Comfy beds, extremely clean rooms without even a speck of dust. Front desk staff were so sweet and helpful when we needed a late checkout. I especially want to mention the hotels head of housekeeping, Rachael, who helped us out to make us even more comfortable and who interactions with her staff were so refreshing to hear. She leads a great team! Also thanks to Alyssa at the front desk for the extra blanket. Great stay!

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Room very comfortable and spacious and good configuration. Good amenities and really good breakfast. There is a train going by regularly but didn’t bother us. Walmart next door and could walk to it. Staff friendly. When we checked in, the bathroom sink stopper not working so they said they would fix and one of the blinds didn’t go up once down and they would fix that too. I would recommend and stay there again

Pros:

Very clean and nice we’ve been taking a road trip and have stayed at several Holiday Inn express hotels. My only complaint is were kind of tired of the package cheese omelettes for breakfast. It would be nice to get some real scrambled eggs or something every location we stayed at has had the same frozen packaged cheese omelettes for breakfast.
