A comfortable, upgraded, very reasonably priced hotel in the lovely little town of Techachapi.
Pros:

The room was large and comfortable and it had everything we needed for a one-night stopover from Arizona to the Central California coast. The bed was very comfortable, there were lots of thick, flurry towels, and the shower fantastic. We stayed on the third floor, which had been recently redecorated, including lots of USB ports.

Cons:

We couldn't figure out how to use the TV to get Netflix, Starz, PBS, or even Roku. The corridors still smelled of glue from recarpeting, but I don't think they could do anything about that, and the redecoration was worth it.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The only negative was dirty carpets.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was great. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious.

Cons:

The carpets were filthy. Lots of stains and even dirty footprints.

I would stay there again.
Pros:

Convenient location. Denney’s and Starbuck’s across the street plus a gas station. Freeway entrance close by as well as hop, skip and jump from town. Also, new hospital close by. They have rooms with bathtubs!

Cons:

Looks like the hallway carpet on 2nd floor needs to be replaced. Didn’t offer frozen desserts like ice cream or ice cream bars.

The location and friendly staff were great.
Pros:

- very nice and helpful evening staff person. I was concerned about the security of a canoe on top of my car, and she suggested the perfect parking spot where she could keep an eye of it.

- location was excellent, right off the freeway

- comfy bed

- standard breakfast, good coffee

Cons:

- prominent stains on the divan
- tattered window blinds
- weathered hall carpets

For the price of the room, I was surprised by the signs of wear and tear.

We asked for ADA beds and they said all they had were too tall of beds resulting in my father-in-law falling and injuring himself trying to get in bed. We wrote a letter to IHG and never heard back

The repair of the hotel was a disappointment
Cons:

There was a tissue hanging out of the wall that appeared to be used to stuff/block a hole between rooms. Also some type of tape was on the floor that was at the entrance to the bathroom, looking like it was being used to keep the floor from coming up.

It was kind of a bummer! But the staff was nice.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Everything else.... :(

Cons:

There was duck tape on the floor transition, the window would only open a tiny crack, the tv was horrible, anything I wanted to see wasnt an available channel, and anything that did come on was just for a miment and then kids with cancer commercials... horrible. the breakfast wasnt even edible, why have scrambled eggs and plain omelets when its just the same exact egg juice poured from a carton.... seems like for the price charged per night they could at least have one real healthy organic breakfast option. But it was just fruit loops and something I wouldnt even consider to be eggs. I just thought itd be a little better for the highest rated room in the area.
