Not for kids but decent
Pros:

Breakfast was great and even had gluten free options. Water pressure was fabulous in the shower. Housekeeping put my daughter's stuffed bunny on the made bed.

Cons:

It wasn't very clean-rug was rough, spots you don't typically see at eye level very dirty (lean over sink to wash face and saw back hole) The microwave leaked. The outlets by the bed didn't hold in the plug so my phone had to charge on the other side of the room and husband had to resituate sleep apnea machine since it randomly turned off.

Pros:

Room temperature control was good and the continental breakfast was very good.

Cons:

Twice the key failed both at the pool door and to my room. I had to get the key reprogrammed. The first time it took the staff several minutes to rebooot the key.

Good, overnight stay. Comfortable room.
Pros:

breakfast was just ok, only scrambled eggs available.

Cons:

There is nothing in the room to read about the city or events going on. This stopped during COVID, but that's been over for awhile now.

The front desk gentleman Sebastian and Jacob were of no assistance. There was a situation that was overlooked during the booking process. My son is a TD1 Diabetic we were trying to check in to get him insulin. They were rude. Unapologetic, showed no kind of customer service Im accustomed to from Holiday Inn from here up the east cost. It was disappointing. My opinion has definitely been changed and I am a IHG member. I was treated like trash. Also I have never been to a Holiday Inn Express where while your eating breakfast they turn the lights off on you, turn the morning news off, and rush you out. If breakfast is over that's fine. Going out of your way to be rude to folks, children crying, and you can't sit and enjoy your newspaper in the designated breakfast or morning area is awful how people were treated repeatedly. This hotel costs to much per night to undervalue customers with such ease and rudeness. I've stayed at multiple Holiday Inns this is not their brand. This is some local mess made to make patrons feel less than. Unacceptable. Having my son with me kept me from really causing issues. It was a awful experience.
