I will be back
Pros:

It was very clean and tidy. The staff were excellent. The carpet over by the air conditioner/heater was wet and that is the only reason why I didn’t give it an exceptional just a very, very good. I did tell the front office about it so it could be fixed the next day.

Not the nicest place but it was clean, safe and quiet for sleeping. Convinent local.
Pros:

The breakfast was wonderful, very good coffee at the breakfast. We were as close as we could be to the race venue

Cons:

The decor was in great need of repairs and updates. Floor in lobby was slippery when swimmers went through. The tv didnt work in our room and front desk only offered suggestions but not to come help. It never worked.

Worked well for me. Just a little warm

The room had a air conditioner but only the fan worked. When I had told them at the front desk the regional manager that was there did not at all respond to me in a professional manner. The manager on duty that day came out of the office when the Regional Manager went to check the air conditioner because he didn’t believe me. The manager tried to ease the tension and started a more professional conversation and offered to give me a discount on the room. I explained to him I was not looking for a discount , I was just explaining to him about the air conditioner but he didn’t wait for me to say anything more before he jumped in and responded the way he did. Anyhow, the manager gave me the receipt and I thanked him and left. I will return to the hotel again. It’s the one I normally use when traveling the Edmonton area. It’s always clean and normally very good staff. It works great because it’s very close to the airport. Also the car rentals are there at the airport.
