Pros:

After flight issues due to a blizzard we arrived tired and jetlagged. From the moment we arrived in front of the hotel we were treated like family. The warmth of every staffer touched our hearts. We immediately made connections. We loved the quirky vintage nautical theme that touched every corner of this historical vessel. Just exploring the hotel was an event in itself. And the Big finale was the Nauka boat ride and picnic. Spectacular.

Cons:

That I couldn't stay longer.

Cons:

The awfully unprofessional behavior of the staff, and their thorough disregard and disrespect for the guests' staying with them. This hotel shuts access to its restaurants for people staying at the Hotel if they're hosting other private functions. If you're patient enough to tide through the commotion, the incessant noise and the staff's cluelessly arrogant behavior would surely test your tolerance.

Weg van de hectiek van de stad en toch centraal
Pros:

Het hotel is een rustige plaats om te verblijven na de hectiek van de stad.... Je kan op het dek genieten van iets eten en/of drinken met de rivier als uitzicht

Cons:

Het geluids niveau van de ventilatie in onze kamer en ook geluiden van boven en vanaf de gang

A fun place to stay (though some maintenance issues). Find somewhere else to drink though

The location was great. I also liked the decor - the nautical theme was fun and imaginatively executed.
Service was good. The staff were friendly, and we were well looked after during the breakfast buffet. Service from Kajal, our waitress, was excellent - attentive but unobtrusive.

Cons:

The floor of our room (104) was in need of attention. It was spongy and unpleasant to walk on.

Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful, but the same was not true of the bars. The waiter in the Anchorage Bar was not well informed. At his suggestion my wife ordered a whisky hot toddy (it was a cold evening). When it came, he assured us that he had used Hennessey. When I pointed out that Hennessy was brandy, he just looked confused. Whatever he used, the hot toddy was very weak.

The music in the Bridge Bistro bar was WAY too loud (94 decibels according to an app on my phone, so roughly equivalent to a pneumatic drill / jackhammer). The staff would not turn it down and were not very interested in serving us.
