Everything was great
Very helpful and friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. The Chef and his staff were especially thoughtful, engaging and went above expectations to make sure we enjoyed the food.

Great property with great design of resort and rooms. Close to the warm sea and 2 cooler swimming pools with 2.5 m depth. Very clean and tidy grounds.
Too many hawkers on the beach chasing business
Location was great - right next to the ocean. Personnel were friendly. Massage was fantastic. A la carte dinner at sea food restaurant was very good, and service by the waiter was at high level.
Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay fell short of the standards we would reasonably expect from a five-star hotel.
We booked a sea-view room, but it was only on the third attempt that we were allocated a room with a satisfactory view. Although the ocean was visible from the first two rooms, both predominantly overlooked the gardens. The first also had a distinctly unpleasant odour.
The dining experience was particularly disappointing. Both breakfast and the à la carte lunch felt more suited to a basic three-star hotel canteen. The food was greasy and barely palatable, while the coffee was unpleasant. One would expect coffee in Kenya to be one of those beverages being of high quality. Being charged separately for a cappuccino at breakfast was also unexpected.
When we ordered fresh pineapple juice with mint, we were instead served what appeared to be packaged mixed juice with sprigs of mint added. This gave the impression of a deliberate substitution rather than an innocent misunderstanding. Fortunately, another member of staff replaced it with a freshly prepared drink matching our order.
The in-room safe also malfunctioned, and arranging a replacement took approximately three hours. This required me to remain in the room with our valuables while the matter was resolved, taking time out of our stay.
Finally, the absence of bathrobes was another unexpected omission for a hotel advertised as five-star.
Although individual members of staff helped resolve some of these issues, the overall experience did not reflect the level of comfort, quality and service we had expected.
Location and cost

This is a quality boutique hotel, ideally situated on a quiet avenue within a 2 minute short walk to a lovely shopping mall, on the sea front.
The host was amazing, helping us with contacts when our car had a flat tyre, and giving my husband a waterproof jackets for us to go whale watching in the rain. Nothing was too much trouble and Tabirth, was amazing with the breakfasts and anything else we needed. Would definitely stay here again 10/10

Not taking any cash is disappointing. Not recommended if you're a smoker. There is only a small area in the corner, so you can't enjoy a drink or get any table service. Unfortunately I wouldn't return again.
Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, ein Balkon ist auch vorhanden.
Das Frühstück sehr gut in Auswahl und Sortiment.
Die Pools sehr gut angelegt und auch der Strand ist gleich da.
Immer wieder ein Genuss, hier ein paar Tage auszuruhen.
Meine Nachbarn ober mir haben nachts mal die Möbel umgestellt?
Man hört halt sehr vieles und die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.
Sonst gibts eigentlich nicht viel zu beanstanden.
Ah ja, ausser, ich war ja alleine, wurde aber darauf hingewiesen, wenn ich jemand mitnehme, den bitte zu melden.
(NEIN, ich mache hier alleine Urlaub, und hole mir niemanden!)
Und beim Essen, Paare und Gruppen wurden angesprochen und gefragt, wie der Tag war, und es wurde nachgeschenkt, ich kam mir ziemlich *blöd* vor.
Es ist wsl nicht so üblich, alleine hier Urlaub zu machen.
