Excellent atmospheric accommodation near the old town of Vilnius.
Pros:

This was a great location, just on the edge of the old town, making it easy to walk inside and see the attractions like the City Hall or the gates of dawn. The staff, day or night were extremely helpful about directions and any other questions I had about Lithuania. The room was comfortable. It came with a refrigerator and a big desk. The hotel, although a relatively modest one had a nice character in a block of older buildings.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was that after 8 PM, the door is an automatic sign in. It was a little tricky to use so I would advise you ask the person at the desk to show you how to operate it.

Generally Disappointing & Poor Value for Money
Pros:

The staff were pleasant and polite. Breakfast was quite good. Shower pressure was good - see note below regarding fan.

Cons:

Inside Number 9 - that was our room. Key pad to check in as our train arrived later than we had expected. Key was in room. The room clearly hadn't had a deep clean in a while and dust was accumulated around the carpet edges. One of the curtains was hanging off the rail and was too high to reach ourselves.
The toilet did not work - well it did if you turned on the water but then it continued to run persistently until you turned it off. Obviously the previous residents of that room had done the same. Cleaner came in and turned water on and told reception it was fixed! Although the bathroom fan worked, the smell after having it on was disgusting.
The bed was 2 single beds pushed together with a mattress topper very much too small (by about 8"/20cm). The sheet was simply thrown in the bed and not tucked in so when we did this we found the topper badly stained.
I hate to leave such a bad review because we booked it on the strength of the other good reviews but it fell far below our expectations. This was by far the most expensive of our Baltic holiday stays and definitely the worst. Thankfully we only stayed 2 nights here. I would not recommend this hotel.
