De locatie was zeer goed. De jongens aan de deur (conciërge) waren super vriendelijk.

Cons:

Het receptie personeel was onverschillig en zeer onbeleefd. Ik zou zelfs zeggen respectloos. Zo een luxe hotel op dat niveau zou toch beter personeel moeten werven. Bijna 10.000 dollar betaald voor een kamer en je krijgt er nul service bij. 4 keer langs de receptie gegaan om te vragen voor een factuur op bedrijfsnaam. Blijven zeggen dat ze dat niet doen en dat het via Booking moet. Na twee keer zei ze dat de boekhouding het in orde zou brengen. Dag erna zegt een collega weer het kan niet, Terwijl ik hen bewijs en aantoon dat het hotel dit moet doen, blijven ze het afschuiven op Booking of op de collega van de volgende dag. Veel mankementen op de kamer. (Kluis ging niet meer open terwijl onze spullen er in lagen, niemand ter plaatse die het kon oplossen. Hele nacht de berichten en wekker horen afgaan van de gsm’s in de kluis. Badkamerdeur stuk, tv streaming werkt niet ) Kwamen het wel de dag erna oplossen maar je zit er weer mee. Streamen ging gewoon niet.
Dat kan voor zo een dure prijs echt niet. Ook Stoffig en ook een keer een vuile handdoek met (leek op) uitwerpselen gewoon geplooid in de badkamer. Heb meermaals achter de manager gevraagd. Zegt personeel: we hebben geen hotel manager ! Als er wel een manager is dan nodig ik hem uit om mij te contacteren.
Zal hem toelichten wie van zijn medewerkers dit zeiden.

We booked a 2-bedroom suite at the Fairmont and later extended our stay by booking directly with the hotel for 2 additional nights. Well in advance—months before arrival—we confirmed several times that the reservations would be linked so our family wouldn’t have to move rooms. This was especially important with 2 young kids and a refrigerator full of groceries. A week before our trip, Fairmont emailed and offered an upgrade to an ocean view which we took and paid for (as it is Fleet Week). When we arrived, the hotel checked us into a fantastic room (one of their residences) and all seemed set. But 2 days later, we received a confusing voicemail saying that we needed to move. When we called that night and spoke to the staff, they stated a “priority guest” needed the room and we would have to move. The staff members we spoke with didn’t acknowledge the mistake or the notes already attached to our reservation. Only after pushing for escalation did we get on the phone with the acting GM (since the GM was away at a conference). That manager admitted the hotel had “messed up” because the unit’s owners were arriving—meaning we had to pack up and move despite all prior confirmations. While the team attempted some service recovery, the disruption was already done. This experience forced us to interrupt multiple plans to deal with logistics—exactly what you don’t expect on an expensive, luxury trip. Unfortunately, Fairmont has lost our business forever.

Месторасположение близко к набережной, вид из окон (если брать с видом) на залив и Алькатрас. Рядом много кафе/ресторанов, до пирса 39 (где морские котики) 10 мин. Дальний вид на голден гейт.

Cons:

Это не гостиница - ЭТО апартаменты (надо читать отзывы внимательнее при бронировани))), завтрак не предоставляется/его там нет в принципе.
Жили в номере 402, в одной спальне окно в железной раме (под "старину"), внизу стоит вентиляционное оборудование - гудит безумно, особенно чувствуется/слышно ночью.
В следующий раз мы бы выбрали другой отель.

Cons:

We have been accommodated on the ground floor. So you are paying more than 1000 USD per night and you have all windows and balcony in the front of the food court with a lot of people. So you can’t even uncover the window - or everyone could see what you are doing in the room
