Hotel Palau Verd Adults Only

Estuvimos muy bien. Todo limpio y con buena atención del personal.

Muy placentera, comodidad y tranquilidad absoluta.

This is a lovely tranquil oasis outside of town. I enjoyed it very much, but they need to pay a bit more attention to maintenance. The jets in my tub did not work, the wooden roll up shade on the door out to my patio would not roll up all the way, my patio had not been swept, and I could only take a bath, not a shower, because the handle on the shower fixture was broken.

El soplador de hojas empieza todos los días a las 7,30/8 de la mañana y es un ruido tan infernal que ni los tapones en los oídos nos hacían nada. Llamé a recepción y me decía la chica que tenía que trabajar a esa hora pero yo le dije que podía empezar a las 10 que es una hora más cristiana para los que venimos de vacaciones y estamos hartos de madrugar....

Escogí este hotel ya que es solo para adultos pero cuidado porque a nosotros nos tocaron 4 viejos borrachos fumadores que se meaban en la piscina y gritaban más que niños...pero claro, no se les puede decir nada porque son clientes que van todos los años... hay niños con más educación que esos adultos....

La insonorización es inexistente, aparte del soplador de hojas, se escuchan las cigarras, el secador de pelo, la conversión y persiana del vecino de al lado y como te toque la habitación en la planta baja cuidado, escuchas todos los tacones de la vecina de arriba y movimientos de muebles.

Lo positivo: hotel pequeño y muy bonito, muy verde con muchísimas plantas, zona chill out, recepcionistas (tanto la Argentina como la chica rubia de ojos azules) majas, piscina con 9 hamacas, garaje para los huéspedes y muy cerca de la cala, del puerto de Dénia que es precioso y Jávea (aunque la carretera tiene muchísimas curvas).

Hotel pequeño, encantador y muy coqueto. Bien situado, con parking, piscina y jardin. La habitación y la cama grande, el baño limpio.

Was ich schade finde, ist, das nicht für Alergene wünsche eingegangen wird. Vor allem Laktoseintolerante bekommen keine Butter oder Margerine, oder sonstiges zum Früstück.
Lediglich nach ständiger nachfrage bekam ich ab und zu mal Käse.
Bei einer Buchung inkl. Früstück für Menschen mit Alergie nicht in Ordnung.

We didn’t get to stay in this property, so impossible to review , we were moved to another hotel in the group , because of low occupancy, however on our first night we were the only people in the new hotel everything shut bar restaurant and front door at 4pm , we were alone all night . , not happy , I also booked Palu Verde as an adults only , , the new hotel was not and didn’t want children around , if I did I wouldn’t have requested an adult only hotel , I called Expedia the next day and miraculously the bar stayed open , I have been offers a £110 voucher , not good enough , more people did arrive towards the weekend, including children !! The Hotel we were moved to was lovely and the staff when there were great but it was not what I booked . This will be taken further.

Es bonito y limpio. Quizá mejoraría un poco los espacios exteriores para darles más utilidad.

Booked a superior room. Was given a basic room. Woman checking me in said there were only two rooms left when I booked in. One room with a twin and one with a double. So clearly they over booked and put me in a basic room. She had difficulty with English so I didn’t bother going back to her after we were in the room.

I talked to the man at the front desk the next morning and asked to be refunded the difference between the superior room and the basic. He refused. I showed him pics of the room on my phone and asked him to pull up their website. He finally admitted they looked different but then wouldn’t just refund the difference. I asked to speak with the manager. He called the manager and the manager refused to speak with me. Then he said write your complaint down on this paper or reviews all over the internet I don’t care.

Check in was a mess and took forever. I just had to leave and go to lunch so we wouldn’t miss Spain lunch time and then finish checking in after lunch.

This was part of my check in experience-
When I checked in, I left my credit card at the desk for incidentals and went to use the bathroom.
When I came back she was entering the credit card to charge for the room
I had to explain to her I already paid on hotels.com

I showed her the receipt and had to show her several times before she agreed not to charge me again.

Reservé una habitación superior. Se le dio una habitación básica. La mujer que me registró dijo que solo quedaban dos habitaciones cuand

I thought the hotel was wonderful, very peaceful, loved no children, the staff were fabulous. The swimming pool was a salt water one which was fab
Quite like a cooked breakfast which wasn’t available
Over all it was a fabulous stay

Una estancia muy buena, de hecho hable con mi pareja y volveremos a repetir.

Mal olor en la madrugada porque se subió la marea y se devolvieron los olores de la cañería. En los servicios incluidos decía: Desayuno para 2 personas
El desayuno está incluido en la estancia pero este servicio no lo brindaron sino lo cobraban.

Very nice hotel to stay,full of green areas and great breakfast to take outside.

localización muy tranquila. Habitaciones buenas.
Solo falta un poco más cuidado en el jardín. Es muy acogedor pero le falta mantenimiento.

Las habitaciones necesitan una actualización, sobre todo baño!
El secador horrible, en esa bañera de hidromasaje no se podría meter una persona mayor, tendría dificultad para entrar, el acceso a ella es muy malo, (por su altura) además el agua se sale por la mampara que no encaja bien. En el baño falta luz y no tiene un buen olor.
En nuestro caso no nos repusieron ni un solo día el gel ni el champú (estuvimos 4 noches) y tampoco nos cambiaron los vasos del agua. La puerta está estropeada por algún tipo de inundación y el techo también. Cuando llueve, saltan los plomos. Estuvimos varias horas sin luz.
El desayuno normal, reducido y sin variedad. Los productos no tenían gran calidad.
Lo mejor la tranquilidad del jardín.
La pena que no se pueda cenar ni comer ahí. No tienen Servicio de comidas.

Muy buen trato al cliente y buen servicio de desayuno.

Skønt sted lige uden for byen så der var stille og roligt. En rigtig oase tæt på havet, hvor der var en hyggelig strandpromenade. Værelset var den rigtige stemning og rengøringen helt i top.
Morgenmaden var også perfekt. Ikke overdådig men en god start på dagen med friskpresset juice og god kaffe.

Nous avions apprécié l'an passé, nous y sommes retournés pour profiter de nouveau du calme, du confort, du lieu ( petit jardin zen, piscine calme, belle batisse..) et du personnel, serviable, souriant et efficace.
Seul bémol cette année : pas de possibilités de grignoter une salade, des croquetas ou des petits sandwichs. Il n'avait pas de restauration, pour cause de covid. En espérant que l'on pourra à nouveau la prochaine fois.

We have spent a wonderful 3 nights at this lovely hotel. Absolutely idyllic, with such beautiful surroundings. The cleanliness of the room was superb as was the continental breakfast with a wonderful array of food & drink. It was nice to have a free garage space.
My only slight downside of this hotel was the strength of the WiFi . If I hadn’t had 4G I would have been stuck.
