Terrible
Cons:

During my 2 night stay I had not hot water in my bathroom ! Breakfast was very poor I would not recommend staying here. Staff not helpful to solve the issue.

Zwei Aufenthalte mit gemischten Erfahrungen: Zimmer nur nach Diskussion erhalten, Verbesserungen bei Strom und WLAN, Poo

Zwei Aufenthalte während meiner Safari-Reise – gemischte Erfahrungen

Während meiner Safari-Reise war ich zweimal in diesem Hotel – einmal vor meiner Safari und einmal danach. Dadurch konnte ich zwei unterschiedliche Eindrücke vom Hotel gewinnen.

Beim ersten Aufenthalt erhielt ich zunächst ein Zimmer ohne Tageslicht, obwohl ich über Booking ein anderes Zimmer gebucht hatte. Außerdem gab es aufgrund der starken Regenfälle in Nairobi einen Stromausfall, das WLAN funktionierte nicht und der Pool wirkte ungepflegt.

Beim zweiten Aufenthalt hoffte ich auf eine bessere Erfahrung. Leider wurde mir beim Check-in zunächst wieder ein Zimmer ohne Tageslicht angeboten. Erst nach längerer Diskussion erhielt ich schließlich das Zimmer, das ich tatsächlich über Booking gebucht hatte. Schon beim ersten Aufenthalt wurde ich an der Rezeption gefragt, warum ich überhaupt zwei Betten benötige, da eines doch ausreichen würde – eine etwas überraschende Bemerkung, wenn man ein bestimmtes Zimmer gebucht hat.

Mein Eindruck war, dass ich das gebuchte Zimmer letztlich auch deshalb bekommen habe, weil die Auslastung im März offenbar geringer ist und mehr Zimmer verfügbar waren.

Positiv ist, dass es diesmal keinen Stromausfall gab und sichtbar am WLAN gearbeitet wurde. Der Pool war diesmal von Blättern befreit, allerdings wirkt der Boden weiterhin gelblich und könnte gründlicher gereinigt werden.

Das Personal ist grundsätzlich freundlich und auch das Essen im Hotel ist gut.

Mein Tipp für zukünftige Gäste: Es lohnt sich, beim Check-in genau darauf zu achten, dass man wirklich das gebuchte Zimmer erhält.

An excellent, tranquil and friendly base for Muthaiga and the embassy region of Nairobi.
Pros:

Tranquil location, beautiful gardens and verdant surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms.

Cons:

Minor details - a couple of lightbulbs need replacing; loose toilet seat.

I just liked the environment. It's located in a very good area. Amazing nature

Cons:

It's like they are not so keen on accomodation. They don't offer any bathroom slides or sandals. There's no toothpaste and disposable toothbrush. They don't provide any shampoos or shower gel. The hairdryer had cockroaches coming out of it when I turned it on.
Honestly very poor facilities.

Fair but needs refurbishment
Pros:

My overall stay was poor. The internet/WiFi connection in the hotel was not great. I had to change my room with the help of friendly staff. For the price, I thought the infrastructure would be great, but it was not the case. Some parts of the toilet were leaking. The food was great and the breakfast was up to standard.
