Room I stayed in was at 79 degrees…ac was broken stayed in room till 11 pm till I finally said something and got moved to a room with one bed when I had a reservation for two… contacted the GM never got a call back…
Location
When we got there, they said they didn’t have any rooms clean. We waited 20 minutes. They finally found us a room we got up there. It wasn’t cleaned 100%. The bed wasn’t completely done. Stains on the bedding. There was no towels. I had to take a picture of the closet, cause there was a big hole in it. Upper lock from the door was barely attached to the door.. I did let staff know. They brought us new bedding for the second evening that we stayed because by the time we got in for the first evening, we were so tired. We just used our own blankets.
Clean friendly
The bathroom door would stick to the point I had to lift the door to shut it and you had to push it open with force using a shoulder.
When we arrived at Holiday Inn Aggieland on Saturday, July 18 around 3:45 pm, the window covering was partially raised. When we gently attempted to lower it using the pull cord, the entire covering fell, appearing to have been secured with adhesive. We contacted the front desk around 4 pm and were told a maintenance request would be submitted
Before leaving for dinner around 6:30 pm, we stopped by the front desk to ask for an update and also report that our AC had been running nonstop since we arrived, but the room temperature had only increased from 75 to 78F. We were asked to write our room number down and were told there had been several complaints regarding the window coverings
When we returned around 8:30 pm, neither issue had been resolved. Since our window was completely uncovered and people were literally gathered directly outside, we had to carefully prop the covering back up ourselves. The room also remained warm throughout the night
Around 9 pm after unanswered calls to the front desk, I contacted booking.com for asst. The hotel then called our room, and I explained both issues again. I was told they would notify maintenance and that someone should arrive within about 30 minutes, however no one ever came
We drove over four hours to attend a family memorial with our two young children. So after spending nearly $300 for one night, it was extremely frustrating to have neither a functioning air conditioner nor adequate privacy despite reporting these issues multiple times
We understand that maintenance issues happen, however the lack of communication and failure to resolve either problem made our stay far below what we expected
Did not have breakfast at hotel
All is well
Always good value. Clean. Good breakfast and staff.
Room felt damp. Bed linens were damp.
Location
Check staff was not friendly
Check out staff (male) was excellent!!!
Location
Limited breakfast and coffee pumps did not work. It took forever to pump a cup of coffee. They need new dispensers. Pool and hot tub seemed dirty and not well maintained.
Extremely overpriced but I couldn’t miss my grandsons graduation. Couldn't afford to give him as much as I would have liked because room cost was outrageous. I believe I paid $300 more than it should have been because of College Station graduation. I won't be doing that again for the next one. Room was smaller than any room I've ever stayed and bathtub faucet leaked constantly. Although staff were very polite and professional I can't recommend due to the cost and small room and leaking faucet.
Extremely small room.
Leaking faucet.
Overpriced by $300.00 but I couldn’t miss my grandsons graduation.
The location was good and the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful
The ceiling leaked water onto the air conditioner. I don’t think they should have rented that room out until it was fixed
Location was convenient. Breakfast was cold and typical.
Did not have USB charging ports and bathroom in poor repair.
The pool and jazzy wasn’t working
The location was very good and the front desk staff was nice.
The hotel is outdated and overpriced. The rooms are also hot.
