Pros:

Design of rooms was great. Breakfast had a lot of options

Cons:

Birthday party in pool was a little rough. I was with young kids. The parents of party had a whole table of booze set up. I felt that should have been kept in the room. Had to parents to put ball away as my family kept getting hit with it. Which they obliged

Pros:

What I didn't like was being told they needed my card for incidentals, when discussion once I saw 50$ missing from my debit card produced that in fact it was a security deposit, and nothing to that effect was mentioned when I gave my card. I cannot put a fine enough point on this, travellers with a budget in their bank account who prepayed for a stay should not have money vanish during their trip without warning.

Pros:

Room was clean. But i especially liked the shower. It was simple and easy to operate without a lot of different adjustments. The simpler the better!! It was one of the best for a simple shower.

Clean place to land
Pros:

Clean pet friendly place - wanted to be at the convention center Holiday Inn across the street but they didn’t accept pets, so we were here. Had the ability to use either pool — the one at Express is smaller but goes to 5ft where the one at the convention center is shallower.
Breakfast had the typical stuff - eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes, pancakes, muffins - the cinnamon rolls were very tasty and were our favorite.
Had to walk the dog and there are sidewalks and grass around the area.
Next door is a a grocery store (Aldi’s), Arby’s, a couple different restaurants - McD”s is across Hwy 10.

Pros:

It’s great that pets are allowed here. We brought our dog several years ago. However, this time we were pet free and our room on the third floor and our relatives that stayed on the first floor both had a very awful dog smell. It was bad enough that we may not stay here again. It seems there would be a way to clean after pets leave to get rid of the smell.

Pros:

We came back to the area to bury our parents. The Holiday Day Inn had a meeting room we could reserve for the entire day to host family and friends with food and drinks. They were able to get us rooms near the meeting room and liked that the pool and hot tub were right next to the room also. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were large and very nice. They offered coffee and water to guests all day long and their breakfast had lots of options to help accommodate everyone.

Cons:

The doors to the rooms wanted to shut on you right away causing them to slam. So hearing people go in and out if their rooms in middle of night not pleasant. Hot tub worked but didn't bubble how it should.
