The area and location. Breakfast was great.
The sheets were dirty, good thing I did bring my own linen.
Shuttle service to airport, bar/restaurant were great.
Room facing the highway was VERY noisy after 10 PM. Sounded like we were next to a raceway. Thin walls meant loud children and guests were very distracting. TV was too complicated to use effectively.
Location/cleanliness
The location was convenient to the airport for a very short stay.
The bar tender was really nice. The fitness center was nice as well.
The rooms were really dark and dusty. There was also a large roach in our bathroom. There were a lot of cracks which I’m sure it came from.
Breakfast at 20.00 per guest is pricy
I was prepared to overlook the multiple issues with my room (clogged toilet upon arrival, phone didn’t work, some of the lights don’t work, really uncomfortable beds) but the customer service on Sunday was absolutely horrific. The front desk agent was actually arguing with and yelling at customers. Definitely do not stay here if you have children or any expectations of a reasonable level of civility.
Proximity to airport, but not worth the negatives.
Way over priced for condition of a clearly old decrepit hotel. Either tear the hotel down and build a new building or lower the price. Also, there was not a free breakfast which was upsetting given then $300/night charge.
HUGE shout out to Keshia Jenkins! She went over the top to get me back to the hotel from the airport. Please provide her extra kindness and appreciation! If you need any assistance, please give Keshia a call!
Our family spent the Christmas holidays at DoubleTree with the most cordial staff member, Sha. Understanding that it’s the holidays and everyone wants to be home with their family, Sha was the best example of having a good work ethic (excellent customer service, funny, engaging and an all around joy). This was our second time staying at this location and I can only hope that we’ll see her again. The room was clean and it’s a great location. Thanks again, Sha!
The bartender Ms. Susy was amazing and was great made our drinks and even closed our tab past her clock out time. Between the great martini and the long island ice tea she definitely understands cocktails and deserves many praises.
Ordered a cheeseburger from the bar. Which was very good. The best part was the great service I received from Susy, who was the bartender. She was very tentative, making sure my experience was good and my order was perfect.
I was extremely underwhelmed. The lobby was being renovated; however, the rooms NEEDED to be renovated. The rooms were dark. The carpet was ripped. The bathrooms were REALLY old. There was mold on the actual shower knob! The stone shower floor was extremely slippery. I stayed on the 6th floor and the wallpaper was falling off the walls in the hallways. There's a lot of options near the airport.... just go somewhere else.
This is not what one would expect from a Doubletree.
