Location
I found the staff to be good hotel rooms themselves are carpets are dirty sheets weren’t really clean. Definitely need some help in that area not having the pool area opened or any of the chairs accessible when it was sunny out was a mess and it should have more time at the bar or keep the bar open from like noon with one person.
Wish we chose a downtown hotel, but the hotel service and amenities were great!
Wish there was a game table or something to keep my teen busy.
We are here for the gymnastics meet with my granddaughter. Erika B. at the front desk was awesome. So friendly and helpful. You need more employees like her. She made my stay alot more pleasant by helping me get our room rate fixed to what it should have been for the gymnastics meet. When we checked in on thursday I asked the lady at the front desk about it. But she told me my rate was right. And then this morning, Erika was willing to take the extra step and help. I assume she talked to her manager , and she was able to give us the rate we should have gotten. A big difference in the price . She made my day. One reason we chose to stay here was because of the meet rates and we love Hilton Hotels. Thank you.
Stayed at this hotel quite a few times. Nice place and never had a problem. But in reading their reviews it makes me wonder what is behind the curtain. Seems that many of the reviews are praising one of the staff by name. I always find that questionable as rarely does one interact with a person from the staff to remember their name and to comment on them just doing their job. Kind of makes one wonder if they, or the hotel, makes up a bunch of different Gmail accounts just to drive up online rating
we were supposed to go to CLT but were rerouted due to ice in CLT. While this was frustrating we booked a room at the Doubletree near the airport. after settling in we went to the bar for some food and drink where we were greeted by Suzie. She truly made our frustrating day disappear. The rooms were nice as well but Suzie sealed the deal.
Restaurant Service. Jackie, Rod, Decyler Very Good Service and Atention. Time to Breckfast. Wonderful. Is time to relax.
The food was amazing! Very fast service and quality food. Thank you to Jackie, Rod, Deasler, and indigo restaurant crew!
After being a Diamond member for years. I feel like it's time to try a different Hotel chain or another Hilton. There's a lot of changes that doesn't fit well with me. I love almost all of the staff there.

I have reached out several times to management there, and they have always responded with a calculated corporate answer. But at least they responded.
Maybe one day I will try Doubletree again.
I will miss the staff.
Thanks,
Gary
Great people and very nice place. Flight cancelled due to ice storm. Diverted to Charleston. Airline could rebook until next day. Call Doubletree got rooms for 3 couples. Life saver.

The area and location. Breakfast was great.
The sheets were dirty, good thing I did bring my own linen.
Shuttle service to airport, bar/restaurant were great.
Room facing the highway was VERY noisy after 10 PM. Sounded like we were next to a raceway. Thin walls meant loud children and guests were very distracting. TV was too complicated to use effectively.
The location was convenient to the airport for a very short stay.
Location/cleanliness
The bar tender was really nice. The fitness center was nice as well.
The rooms were really dark and dusty. There was also a large roach in our bathroom. There were a lot of cracks which I’m sure it came from.
Breakfast at 20.00 per guest is pricy
I was prepared to overlook the multiple issues with my room (clogged toilet upon arrival, phone didn’t work, some of the lights don’t work, really uncomfortable beds) but the customer service on Sunday was absolutely horrific. The front desk agent was actually arguing with and yelling at customers. Definitely do not stay here if you have children or any expectations of a reasonable level of civility.
Proximity to airport, but not worth the negatives.
Way over priced for condition of a clearly old decrepit hotel. Either tear the hotel down and build a new building or lower the price. Also, there was not a free breakfast which was upsetting given then $300/night charge.
