Great service at the desk. Nice hotel, good buffet for 9,95$
Hotel located near Stonehenge, a great overnight hotel during travelling. Not much around the hotel except lots of American fast food restaurant. It's about 25 min to Salisbury, definitely pay a visit there when you are stay here. Salisbury cathedral is amazing and historical, lots places to eat and drink.
Unfortunately we had to return home in the evening due to an emergency. The receptionist was so kind and understanding and gave us a snack to take with us because we hadn’t time to eat. First class customer service, I will be returning.
Very quiet and enjoyable space! Perfect location also
Really nice hotel. Staff are very friendly.
Only an overnight stay to visit family who live close by. Comfy room and be maybe would have preferred a room without disability features
The staff on reception were great when we checked in. The problem came in the restaurant where the food was not worth the price, great servers let down by poor ingredients badly cooked. The pizza smelt like a dirty oven and the rice with the Sri Lankan Dhal was bad and the dhal itself was basic. The Tofu was nice. All that would have been ok as many large hotel chains fail in their restaurants. The main problem was the noise from the bar. Our room was probably the closest to the bar and as such should have been better insulated from the noise which in this instance culminated with a full rendition of Dirty Old Town. The breakfast in the morning was as poor as the meal the night before. Cheap bread and the worst watery apple juice(?) I had ever tasted. Incinerated veg sausages and a poor selection of bruised and battered bananas were the highlights. We didn’t stay for the second night.
In a very handy position just off the A303. Lots of parking. Nice rooms. Wide range of food for breakfast with plenty of room.
Lovely staff. Hotel is pretty ok actually. Area not amazing.
Wonderful check in staff
Lovely breakfast
The sleeping room was somewhat smaller than I'd expected, but the bathroom was just the right size for the two of us. Everything was really clean and the staff (evening and early morning) were really nice and helpful. There's a gas station and convenience store and other food and conveniences within close walking distance of the hotel.
Good location near asda and restaurants
GOOD BREAKFAST. FRIENDLY STAFF
You know what you’re getting with a holiday inn. Didn’t disappoint!
The description and posted photos were deceiving. It is in an industrial type area near what seems to be a rest stop area. While they say it is a modern hotel- it is far from that. Putting wallpaper with butterflies up and a few modern vases doesn’t justify it being given this description.
When we arrived we were downgraded because the AC in our premium room was broken. While I appreciate them recognizing that AC EAs important in the hot summer, what they gave us was almost unacceptable. We were 3 adults and I reserved a king bed with sofa bed. We got a large accessible room with a double bed and sofa bed. They said it was comparable because it was big but there was nothing but open space and a random chair. It just felt dirty and unwelcoming. There was no counter space in the bathroom and extra towels were placed in the closet. The bathroom was huge but vacant. I was so disappointed. I thought we would be in Salisbury based on the name but that wasn’t the case. The drapery was broken and hanging in parts along the window. Not a nice welcome.
The staff was very friendly. Whoever cleaned our room after the first night did a great job! I definitely felt better returning that day than upon initial arrival.
The staff made up the kids bed (couch) ahead of time! The attention to detail was magnificent.
On one of the hottest days of the year we went to our room and the air conditioning was broken. We reported this straight away and was told there were no other rooms and we were given a fan, which made no difference whatsoever! We were offered no maintenance to look at it and told if we didn’t sleep well to complain in the morning! Awful nights sleep and not impressed with the lack of support to rectify the situation.
Shower head need replacing or cleaning not operating as good as they should
