Residence Inn Tampa Suncoast Parkway at NorthPointe Village

I stayed in this hotel 1 week a month for 3 months for work related events. During my first stay, hair was found in my bed. My second stay, I had to switch room three times due to dirty rooms with hair all over the bed, toilet and in shower or no AC. During my second stay they didn’t have any other rooms for me so I was forced to pick the cleanest of the dirtiest rooms to stay in. I ended up cleaning my own room because of grease and dirty clothes from the previous guest found in the room. Management basically said the hotel was individually owned and the owner didn’t give a crap about the hotel. Kitchen workers were heard openly talking crap about how group that was staying there. This hotel was horrific and dirty. Sad because the management tried but sounds like the owner doesn’t care. Do not stay here. Disgusting dirty hotel

The hotel is great but what made our experience so phenomenal is Alexa from the front desk. The hospitality, the smile and help with joy she provided made us feel home.

Fantastic hotel. Really really good. We are a family of 4, but our sons are 21 and 19, so we all need our own space. The 2 bedroom suite was great. King room for my wife and I, and each of the boys had their own bed in a 2nd bedroom. Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast. We have friends in Bexley next door and will be back again. And a great value relative to nearby competitors, especially for this room size. If there was one SMALL criticism, its that the parking is a bit confusing. 2 hotels and a business complex seem to surround a parking lot and I wasn't sure where I could park. That said, never got towed so guess it was fine :)

Anyone going to Flight Safety for initial or recurrent. This is the place to be. Less than a 5 minute walk to the sims. Staff has been amazing. Margarita at the front desk is always the familiar face to come back to after a long day. Nice and quiet location with a pool. Breakfast every morning. It leaves any of the guessing work out so you can focus on training and nothing else.

Room was spectacular. Beautiful 2 bd suite. No noise.

Checked in with Alexa and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful and efficient, she made my stay there a 5 star experience!!

When I checked in, I was somewhat concerned to see that this residence Inn was under new ownership. I have stayed here many many many times in the past on business. I found this to be my favorite residence inn. When I arrived in my room, I was very pleasantly surprised to see the most recent iteration of resident inn’s update. And this hotel is exceptionally clean. I highly recommend and Alexa was super at check-in and every interaction I’ve had with her since then.

The breakfast was great, the rooms are huge and fully stocked. 10/10

Wanted to commend Alexa at the Lutz, Florida location Residence Inn. We moved from Diamond status Hilton to Marriott because of exceptional people like her. She was warm, cheerful, and quick to help. I had room swap, and couldn’t make it back by checkout, and she and her team moved my already loaded luggage cart into the new room and had it situated when I returned, even swapped freezer items. Top notch service and professionalism, and again, the primary reason we are with Marriott now as a corporate team. Great facility. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just completed a 2-month stay here, and it was actually hard to leave. It was like leaving the side of the family you like. The hotel staff were constantly attentive to our needs and eager to improve our quality of life, a level of service not often encountered in several years of traveling as nomads. Undoubtedly, front desk manager Alexa is the pillar of this. Margarita and Jessica at reception were always ready to assist with things like arranging housekeeping at our convenience and never failed to express a heartfelt welcome when we returned to the property at the end of the day. We are also very grateful to Erica, who worked with us to arrange our long-term stay and secure a suite that met our needs. And D.D. in maintenance became a friend as time went on and always offered to help us beyond his official capacity. When I needed tiny screws for a project, he took me to his workshop and made them available. A great guy.

As for the property itself, it is recently and nicely renovated. Our 1 bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping it and the common areas clean. The wifi was often slow, but adequate. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and varied from day to day. We took delicious spinach quiche and bacon for the road on our day of departure. The property is directly adjacent to the Suncoast expressway but on a quiet road and was quiet even in our room, which faced the highway. It is about 20 minutes to Tampa airport. There is a CVS and Publix just on the other side of the expressway, about a 2 minute drive, and Costco and I-75 are about 15 minutes. There is overflow parking shared with the Hilton Garden Inn next door and a complex of restaurants and shops, so even on days when the hotel was fully booked, we were always able to find a space.

But despite the property being almost perfect for us, I cannot emphasize enough the impact that Alexa had on our stay. There is no problem that she can't solve, and her infectious joy and enthusiasm always put a smile on our faces. Her motto is, "Don't worry, I'll take care of it," which she did without fail. She is one of the reasons that we repeatedly extended our stay and why we will make this property our home whenever we're in west central Florida.
