Amazing spot. Great view of the city and Ovelisco. The personal is very kind.

‘Fading grandeur’ is taken too far by this hotel, with its chipped crockery, damaged lavatory seat and dingy breakfast room. But it is very central for exploring BA and the staff are very helpful.

Our favorite BA hotel. Great location and super friendly and helpful desk. Breakfast can be given a miss,however. Elevators function but are probably ready for an upgrade.

The location is excellent. It is near a prominent landmark with easy transport links. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was so convenient that I am returning after a few days away.

Location is great. It's not very modern, and it's not the most updated, but for the rate and location it's a great value. I had a street view room which is very desirable with a view of the boulevard

Perfect location, across from the obelisc, the two main downtown arteries, theatres, restaurants, subway at your doorsteps, money exchange, shopping, etc.
The property is very well kept, bathrooms look like new, beds are very comfortable, the staff goes above and beyond to help you in any way.
This will be our hotel of choice when in Buenos Aires.

The location is good, the Hotel condition needs improvement,the carpet is really old, the shower door opens in a weird way, breakfast is not worth the price at all

Perfectly located hotel, excellent bed and mattress, good sleeping. Room facing towards the interior part of the hotel, no view. But everything functional, nice spacious bathroom.

A comfortable centrally located hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was average but adequate.

We got a room away from the street which we really liked. Two small closets to keep clothes in. The only complaint was that we had to ask for ice every night. I really liked the big bathroom & the decor in rooms and halls. EL Carbon is a restaurant across the big street & down a little ways on the street that is lit up & doesn’t allow cars. The prices are incredible inexpensive & the meals are wonderful.
