The hotel was great. There was an issue with the light flickering, but this was sorted in 5 minutes.

Cons:

The location meant that ALL the roads to the hotel were closed until 6pm due to the Leicester city football home game match. This was not mentioned and it took us hours to get there.

No working AC. Not ideal with young children at all!
Pros:

Staff were fantastic, helpful and extremely pleasant.

Cons:

There was no working air conditioning throughout the hotel. Prior to booking this hotel there was nothing to inform me that there would be no working AC, although fans and heaters were offered to us this was not suitable as I had a 1 year old and 3 year old child we could not leave a fan running all night as this wasn’t ideal and leaving a heater on was not safe around toddlers. Considering my booking entailed that I would have 2 young children with me I should have been made aware of this, had I of known that this facility was not actively working I would not have booked this hotel.

Sweaty and unreasonable.
Cons:

No air con in rooms. Only told of this when arriving so that there was no chance to book elsewhere. Ridiculous.

A mix bag, not completely satisfied.
Pros:

The room was clean and tidy. Bathroom/Shower room was fine though small but clean..

Cons:

The lighting system in the room wasnot that great. During the night if an individual gets up and puts the light on his / hers bedside on then whole room lights up !!! and the air condition control unit did not work.

All in all not a satisfactory stay at the hotel at the price. AND IHG app does not take my post code

Terrible.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

Even with the window open and a fan, room was too warm and with no air-conditioning unbearable. Checked out after the first night, could not bear another night. Toilet stank throughout even when not in use, not sure why.
