Lovely hotel but a bit of a way out from the city centre
Pros:

The food was excellent and the breakfast plentiful. Staff were lovely and the property was in a good state of repair.

Cons:

I booked three rooms two were superior twins and one was a double. I was never given the double just another twin but as we arrived late at night they could not do anything about it. I must admit to being disappointed but we slept well in the beds anyway.

A good place to stay
Pros:

Good location for the airport. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good food.

Beautiful hotel and golf course in a quiet setting
Pros:

- Staff are friendly and always available.
- Beautiful golf course and quiet setting
- Spacious rooms

Cons:

- Rooms are basic lacking a few modern conveniences like Individual heating/cooling controls (cooling is rarely a requirement in Ireland outside of July/August - so this is a non-issue most of the year)
- Rooms are clean but there are some general maintenance issues. The bathroom in the room we booked needed to be resealed around the bathtub (see picture) - this might be a room specific issue and everything else was in good working order and clean.

Lovely Hotel
Pros:

The hotel is located in a very quiet and beautiful area. The golf course view from the room was a plus. The room was extremely clean, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was great. The pool and Spa facilities were also great. I didn’t get the chance to visit the bar/restaurant but I did order the food to my room and the portion was massive. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Since I had the Spa booked on a Sunday morning, the parking was quite crowded, it took me a little while to find a spot, but it got quieter in the afternoon.

Had a nice time but for me the food was not great
Pros:

I liked the setting the fresh air and it was quiet and the staff were very nice.

Food in the restaurant was great and the breakfast was good staff in the restaurant were also great.

Cons:

We left our room at roughly 8am on Tuesday we returned around 18:30 to find the the door to our room had been left opened by cleaning staff.

Thankfully nothing appears to have been taken, but anyone could have been in the room and taken anything they wanted luckily we had not left anything of value at the hotel.

I spoke to the manager at reception who asked was anything taken and that he would look into it. That was the last I heard from them.

I brought it up again at check out the following morning. I was told that the manager would be in later and they would inform him and that they would be in touch. No contact from them either.

Great spot, food good, staff lovely beds comfortable and new towels nice. Old fashioned feel. Handy for the airport.

Lovely setting. Very quiet and peaceful. Very near the airport. Staff were lovely, Guinness was good. Food was good in the bar, beds comfortable, new towels nice.

Cons:

It was one of those hotels of faded grandeur. Decor was old and jaded. Breakfast could be a little better.
