Great location & safe bet if you’re pushed.
Pros:

Old style charm near to the Politeama and bus stop for the airport. Stunning breckfast.

Cons:

Unable to sleep due to noisy neighbours. Carpets need replacing in the room. No room service or gym & yet it’s five star…

Elegant and central
Pros:

Old fashioned elegance with all conveniences. Breakfast in roof terrace conservatory excellent. Size and comfort of bedrooms very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy walk for sightseeing and restaurants.

Cons:

Would have liked to use roof terrace for evening drinks. Lounge upholstery needs updating/cleaning. Coffee machine in room would have been nice.

Très bien, mais je demanderais une autre chambre!
Pros:

Très agréable établissement 5*, très bien situé. Personnel très efficace et aimable, sans être obséquieux.

Cons:

On nous a attribué une chambre au rez-de-chaussée donnant sur une tout petite cour intérieure. Pratiquement pas de lumière en plein jour ensoleillé! Mais au moins c’était tranquille!

Sublime en particulier, grâce à l’hôtel

J’ai tout aimé, c’était superbe placé l’hôtel est incroyablement magnifique. Un hôtel classique, à l’ancienne, le personnel est très agréable aux petits soins. C’est un grand hôtel comme on n’en fait plus. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux avec une magnifique vue.

Cons:

Mon séjour était vraiment trop court. Mais je reviendrai et dans le même hôtel.

Grand Hotel Wagner is everything you could hope for in a hotel in the heart of Palermo. Somehow, it manages to blend old-world opulence, history, and charm with modern comforts, creating an experience that feels both luxurious and incredibly welcoming.

The attention to detail throughout the hotel is remarkable. From the beautiful architecture and elegant furnishings to the thoughtful little touches, nothing feels overlooked. Complimentary bottled water was replenished during daily housekeeping, and each evening, a little fruit chew and a sweet “buona notte” note were left at my bedside. Such simple gestures, but they made the experience feel that much more special.

The staff were exceptional across the board. The front desk team was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I arrived before check-in, and they happily stored my luggage so I could begin exploring Palermo. I also had a rather unusual request during my stay, and without hesitation, they found a way to accommodate it. The bar staff were equally wonderful, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with.

The complimentary breakfast was another highlight, offering a fantastic variety of sweet and savory options, fresh coffee, juices, and beautifully prepared dishes.

Buena ubicaciòn
Pros:

Buena ubicación, sobre todo si no quieres estar en el bullicio del centro histórico, al que se llega en minutos andando. Buenos lugares para comer cerca.

Cons:

Las habitaciones con moqueta, aunque, eso sí, estaba bastante limpia, pues no sentí el polvo que los alérgicos sentimos de inmediato.

Nice and comfortable enough for a short stay
Pros:

Position, great AC. Very friendly staff.

Cons:

Mediocre breakfast for 5 star hotel.
Did not like smell of the hotel in general.
I think it is a cleaning agent they use.
No coffee machine supply in the room!!!

Séjour à Palerme
Pros:

L'architecture de l'hôtel. Sa décoration intérieure de très bon goût, assez fidèle au vieux style baroque. Le petit déjeuner fabuleux dans un salle au dernier étage.

Cons:

Les moquettes usées et pas très propres.
Les produits d'accueil de salle de bains étaient plus que minimalistes.
Le nécessaire de repassage était carrément inexistant.
Curieux pour un hôtel de cette catégorie.
