The room was perfect, elegant, with amazing antique furniture, the breakfast was fantastic, from sweets to savoury, the drinks were perfect, especially the cappuccino, the coffee and we greatly appreciate the cutlery...
The staff was very professional and helpful, the room was cleaned daily discreet, and we appreciate the kind touch with the fresh water and little chocolates, thank you very much...
Great location, nice staff, and a grand old building. It’s a bit tired, hasn’t been updated in awhile I don’t think, but overall it was ok. We switched to a street-facing room, our assigned room faces the interior which was kind of depressing.
The food was pretty mediocre at breakfast. For a city with such incredible food, I’d rate the breakfast as 2/5. All the hot food was cool to lukewarm (scrambled eggs, potatoes, vegetables, sausage, etc…). The “juice” wasn’t juice at all but seemed like “fruit drinks” which is so strange for a hotel in the middle of a city teeming with citrus. The fruit wasn’t very good either, seems like it was from a commercial distributor who has never heard of the nearby produce markets.
Excelente ubicación, el desayuno completo y exquisito, el personal atento y servicial.
Schönes gediegenes Grand Hotel im Stil des Fin de siecle mitten im Zentrum von Palermo. Alles, was man besichtigen möchte, erreicht man problemlos fußläufig.
Central location, high end large room
Busy hotel
Good location, was close to all attractions. Highlight was Stefania who worked at the reception, was very warm, helpful and proactive. Even before we approached the reception the morning after our sleepless night, she informed us that she has booked a larger room with more space and asked us to pack our bags and leave it in the room and they will move to the new room when it’s cleaned while we are out. She left a great impression on us. Although the room was spacious, the AC still did not work, we were told that they don’t have the Ac on that month.
We had a classic room booked, we ended up in the smallest room we have ever stayed in. We couldn’t move around without bumping to each other. The AC has been switched off and the room was stuffy and warm, we were asked to open the window but the room was in the ground floor facing the street, we opened the window and it was too noisy which meant we had to keep the window closed. We asked to be changed to another room and we were told it was fully booked and they will change the room next day. So we had an uncomfortable nights stay. Also, The hotel had only a small bar and a restaurant for only for breakfast which was a function room set up as a restaurant only for the breakfast which was not that inviting.
