Sehr komfortables, aber nostalgisches Haus
Pros:

Das Haus in bester, zentraler Lage bot einschließlich Valet-Parking alles, was man sich von einem erstklassigen Stadthotel erwartet. Die Rezeption war stets mit sehr freundlichem Peronal besetzt. Die nostalgische Atmosphäre ist sicher nicht jedermanns Sache, aber uns hat sie nicht gestört und wir haben uns - auch im Vergleich mit vielen anderen internationalen Hotelerfahrungen - sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Frühstück auf der (temperaturbedingt geschlossenen) Dachterrasse war reichhaltig und auagezeichnet.

Our stay would have been more enjoyable if we could have had an early breakfast or even a cup of coffee in our room

Cons:

The breakfast didn’t start until 07.30am. Too late.

There was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room which there was in every other hotel we stayed in in Sicily.

Live like a king for a few days!
Pros:

The interior is breathtaking! You feel like a king in his palace! The small sauna room, which you have to reserve, was surprisingly good! The climate control there was perfect, and you can really make a proper Scandinavian sauna session. The breakfast was very good in variety and quality.

Cons:

The noise of the traffic outside.... lots of motorcycles passing by making a lot of noise. Fortunately it's better after midnight. Otherwise it's a fantastic hotel!

Après 6 nuits passées dans la chambre 114, c’est avec plaisir que nous recommandons fortement le grand hôtel Wagner. Idéalement situé pour visiter la ville, Confort et bon accueil sont au rendez-vous.
Un cadre exceptionnel, des petits déjeuners fabuleux, un personnel toujours gracieux et disponible avec une mention spéciale pour la gentillesse de Claudio le barman.
