Clean, Modern Hotel
Pros:

Had the pleasure of staying here on a trip to Southern Chile. The hotel is very modern in design and creature comforts.
Check in was quick and efficient. The lobby area was comfortable while waiting for my room to be ready.
The room itself was very nice. A corner room with views. Powered window shades. Lots of lighting. Bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom was spotless with a walk in shower, no door.
Air conditioning was fine.
Breakfast was buffet style with lots of options. At least four types of yogurt and fresh fruit. Coffee was excellent.

Tried booking the spa in the late afternoon, which was redirected to WhatsApp. That’s fine, but they staff only responded the next morning which is not acceptable.

Avoid street facing rooms - VERY noisy
Pros:

The hotel accommodates all Antartica 21 and Silver Seas' fly-in cruise passengers before and after their voyages. Since 20% of flights between Punta Arenas and King George Island are cancelled due to weather, it's quite likely that you'll be stuck at the Cabos de Hornos for between 2 and 4 days. If that's the case, catch up on sleep before you arrive because may not get much during your stay. Try to avoid rooms facing the plaza since the locals take a perverse pleasure in revving the engines of their motorbikes right outside your window between 1 and 3 am....... especially on Saturdays.

In the summer, try to get a room in Tower 2 rather than Tower 1 since Tower 1 has no AC. This is an issue during the summer when the strong sunlight makes the plaza facing rooms excessively warm. Whilst they have window, these don't open very much so whilst they let in more street noise, they don't let in much air.

Room's are a little worn but very clean. Service is okay, but the restaurant food is mediocre.

If you have a choice, stay somewhere else.

No chance to get ANY drink after 11:00 pm. Not even a plain juice or water. Not even a filled fridge in the room.

Iconic!!!
Pros:

The property has an old world charm with stone exteriors and quaint but modern interiors. Located in the historic centre of Punta Arenas, it allowed us to explore the entire town and the marina on foot. We stayed here for two nights/ three days on our way to Antarctica

Our rooms were cosy, and well maintained- overlooking the city centre. We took advantage of it’s location to the fullest - walking around the town for hours, discovering some architectural and historical gems

Loved our stay here. Highly recommend the hotel to those transiting through Punta Arenas

Pros:

Beautiful hotel with great ambiance and decor representative of the location. Friendly staff and amazing food. Small sauna but very nice and can be reserved for private use only. Highly recommend this property.

Cons:

Tower one and two are very different. One is newer than the other. I much prefer tower two which is new as opposed to tower one which is refurbished and doesn’t have AC. In the summer it can get warm in this area.

de Hotel moet rekening houden erover.
Wij zijn touristen maar de mevrouw zei als je niet de papier van douane laten zien je moet nog ver betalen
dat vind ik ook niet netjes want duidelijk was dat ik toerist bent met mijn passport

Was wonderful except for some little issues that could have been solved instantly actually really effected my stay

I accommodated the hotel by moving rooms for them. They needed my old room. In the move a lot of chocolate and a bottle of water was left in the room. I phoned reception to ask for my bottle of water as mine was still in the room and I am absolutely shocked when reception said I would need to pay for a bottle of water!!!!!! . I can’t comprehend this as it is mine.
