Schöne Location aber schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und bietet einen wundervollen Blick auf den See. Die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt und gut erhalten. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Im Hotel fanden während unseres Aufenthalts verschiedene Veranstaltungen statt, die bis in die späte Nacht gingen. Die ganze Nacht waren feiernde und lachende Leute zu hören. Zudem waren aufgrund der vielen Gäste sämtliche Parkplätze im und ums Hotel herum belegt. Bei diesen Zimmerpreisen könnte man erwarten, dass für Hotelgäste Parkplätze reserviert bleiben. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt für uns nicht. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und hellhörig. Auf der einen Seite ist eine vielbefahrene Strasse, auf der anderen Seite ein grosser Schotter-Parkplatz. Das Essen im Restaurant war maximal durchschnittlich, der Service zwar bemüht, aber bei unserer Gruppengrösse (16 Personen) kamen die Mitarbeitenden schnell an ihre Grenzen. Einige unserer Gruppe haben nicht das bekommen, was sie bestellt haben. Alles in allem grundsätzlich eine schöne Location und ein schönes Haus, für die Preise (Zimmer und Essen) erwartet man aber viel mehr. Insbesondere die schlechte Nachtruhe ist für uns ein No-Go. Und wenn das Hotel unbedingt parallel neben den Hotelgästen noch eine Hochzeit, einen Junggesellenabschied und diverse Kommunionfeiern veranstalten möchte, wäre eine Vorinformation an die Hotelgäste angezeigt.

Relaxed, beautiful, delicious
Pros:

The beauty and relaxed elegance of this villa was fantastic, visual pleasure everywhere. The grounds are exciting with secret alcoves and surprises at many turns. The restaurant was wonderful, we ate there twice. we took the free shuttle on market day and enjoyed an easy walk back along the lake.

Cons:

Room was nice, just not as nice as the rest of the property.

Schöner Ort, direkt am See, perfekt für einen Rückzug zu zweit oder allein.
Pros:

Das Relais Villa Porta ist ein sehr hübsches und gemütliches Hotel, mit äusserst freundlichem und aufmerksamem Personal. Die direkte Lage am See bietet wunderschöne Morgen- und Abend-Stimmungen und trotz der zentralen Lage fühlt sich ein Aufenthalt jederzeit sehr friedlich und ruhig an.

Pros:

Old world, Italian village charm can’t get any better. Resort is huge and beautiful. Location is small issue getting here from the airport, but it was worth it. Food spectacular, views spectacular, staff spectacular. First time here and will be coming back for our wedding next year and can’t wait.

Pros:

Romantisches Hotel mit Charme in einer tollen Lage direkt am Lago Maggiore mit tollem Blick über den See und die gegenüber liegenden Berge. Wunderschöne sehr gepflegte Garten-/Außenanlage, die einem botanischen Garten gleich kommt, vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, Whirlpool, mehreren Restaurants und Bars, alles direkt am See. Man kann den ganzen Tag im Hotel / der Hotelanlage verbringen ohne etwas zu vermissen.
Das sehr große Zimmer mit Charme war komfortable und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, es ließ nichts vermissen und das Personal war stets aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Aufenthalt mit Seesicht

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer war großzügig, sehr sauber und mit Blick auf den See. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, direkt am See gelegen mit einer weitläufigen Parkanlage, die viele und schöne Plätze zum Entspannen bietet.
Ein echtes Highlight war das Frühstück, aussergewöhnlich vielfältig, qualitativ hochwertig und ansprechend angerichtet. Serviert wurde es in einer verglasten Veranda mit direktem Blick auf See.
Auch gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten - insgesamt ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
