If you dont mind stale stink and uncomfortable beds you will be fine.

The appearance I guess.

Cons:

The rooms smelled 157 years old. The carpet must of been 175 years old. Very dirty and needs replacement. Smelled very bad. Gave me a headache and everything I brought in smelled like the room when I left. This needs to be addressed asap. I didnt stay my second night. I couldn't take it.

Shower didn't work right and beds are on wheels.
Pros:

Location was decent.

Cons:

The beds are on wheels. I leaned up against one and slid away and I fell to the floor. The shower didn't operate correctly so I had water coming from the bath faucet and barely any water coming out of the shower head. This caused my shower to be cold. Was not enjoyable. Breakfast was sub par and not really worth the time going down there.

Laguna Hills Lodge is an excellent value and I'd definitely stay again.
Pros:

The breakfast was better than average--eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, toast, muffins, bagels,.juice, tea, coffee. The grounds are prettier than the price would suggest. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fridge and microwave were great and even the coffee tasted better than expected.

Cons:

The room could have felt a little cleaner. For example, the coffee pot hadnt been dusted for awhile. The sink had a funky smell; thankfully it was only noticeable when standing right there. The bed was VERY firm. I have noo other complaints.
