Great location, beautiful "old style" hotel with garden.
Pros:

The garden rooms are excellent - nice and quiet with beautiful garden area outside. Breakfast was good - not just "continental", but with eggs and bacon or sausage every day. The staff was extremely nice. The location was perfect - out of town but along I5 for convenience.

Convenient but will not return.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for both dinning and access to the freeways.

Cons:

The rooms are in sad condition including peeling paint. We had no idea you had to 'turn on' the refrigerator so our drinks got cold. My daughter liked the beds, I did not and didn't sleep well because of it.

Perfect location with ample room.
Pros:

The location was great as well as the room size. The area was much quieter than I expected so that was terrific. The staff were very helpful, efficient and professional. The grounds were really cute with a bubbling fountain and colorful plantings. They did offer tea bags. The staff was great and the eggs were fluffy and hot (as were the sausages which were tasty).

Cons:

The breakfast was just OK as there were only scrambled eggs and plain sausages for protein. Only bagels and very few english muffins were available. I was sad that there was not a waffle maker. Not much fruit and only a couple of packets of instant oatmeal. The yogurt choice was dismal and there was no milk in cartons.
