It was comforting
Room was larger than expected
The jacuzzi and the bed
Found a dildo in the side drawer 10 minutes after check in told staff and all they could say was I'm sorry also after coming back from exploring town at 10:00 that night the toilet was overflown and there was water all over the bathroom floor told staff she brought down a custodian member they cleaned it up but then accused us of having a third person in the room very rude and unprofessional told the manager in the morning and he blew it off
Everything was clean and staff was super helpful
Clean
The elevator was broken and wasn’t told until checking in.
Quaint little town. Make sure to go to the pie shop on the square. Definite highlight!
Lady on reception was so welcoming and help full, and all were respectful.
Exterior looked well kept and this place did not have the stale smell of other nearby hotels. No issues whatsoever but there was some black hair left on floor from prior guests.
Cadre agréable. Personne de l accueil de bon conseil. Petit déjeuner complet. Chambre agréable et bien équipée
The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable but that’s it.
The elevator was barely functioning and sounded like a rusty old roller coaster trying to make it up a hill. The sofa chair in our room was disgustingly dirty, we refused to even touch it. The bathroom ceiling had water stains and mold on it. The AC didn’t quite get cold and it was very humid in the room which also made the old carpet feel sticky. (At least, I hope that’s why it felt sticky) Walk barefoot at your own risk.
The staff was friendly, breakfast was good, room was comfy. Bonus points for us with our toddler - we didn’t have loud neighbors, our room was over the lobby, and the toilet was quiet (iykyk). Would stay again!
Michelle, was Great, and Everything was great.
Breakfast was good, and there was plenty of seating. I liked that there were high chairs and booster seats available for my kids. We had some trouble with one of our rooms, but they were quick fix the problem.
The A/C in one of our suites didn't work, and they didn't have another suite available. They were able to quickly move us across the hall to another room, still close to our second room that we had booked, but it was not a suite. I wish that we had been compensated for the downgrade, but that was not offered.
The hotel did accommodate our group for a pizza dinner we had delivered. We had about 45 people in our group. All of us were there for a large fundraising event for MS prevention and cure. We are non-profit group on a very small budget and every dollar counts for us to be able to afford supporting our efforts on our own funds.
Upon Check-in I was advised by the front desk lady that I had two reservations. I did not make two reservations. so I asked the clerk to cancel the second one. She stated that she could not do so and that she would try to "sell" the room that night so that I might get a portion of my payment refunded. When we got to our room the electronic key card did not work. I had to go up and down in the elevator to get a new key 3 times! Finally, she was able to view me on the security camera trying to unlock the door on my fourth trip. She came upstairs and replaced a battery in the key lock system.
Side note: the elevator in this building was need of some service work as well. Each time we went down to first floor it made a hard landing that shook the unit. That's not good at all.
This hotel could be so much nicer if they’d just clean. Also fix the elevator that the front desk has to warn people not to scream about. And get its inspection completed.
