I will not book again, usually I book free with cancellation but I did non refundable. The hotel is going through renovations, they did not tell us this when booking. There is no indoor pool access or work out/ gym facilities. The breakfast was ok, more a grab and go.
Ding dong Ms. Garvin’s gone!!!!
I found out there is new management. The place is safe to stay at again dingdong the old manager is gone! I can’t wait to return to my second home now that it will be a pleasant experience!
The hotel is really quite stately inside. The breakfast is second to none for a hotel breakfast and they have the option of larger suites that accommodate families instead of just couples. This really is a great hotel. The Texas roadhouse across the driveway is a great asset and it’s close to so many wonderful attractions. The new management seems to be doing wonderful. I’m just so glad they like they say with the old and in with the new.
The breakfast was tasty, fresh and a lot of options. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable.
It was under renovation so the pool and fitness room were not open. The TV in the room did not have a remote control and once we got one, the TV did not work, it turned on but there were not any channels. The maintenance person thinks that we were the first ones to stay in that room and everything was not hooked up correctly. We were just disappointed because we paid extra to have the indoor pool and would have liked to been able to watch some TV but it is fine. All in all the staff was nice, the beds were comfortable, it was very clean, in a nice area - so that was all positive.
Everything was perfect
Nothing
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different locations throughout the Hilton portfolio. A visit to the area brought me to this property.
I checked in and chose my room on the Hilton app on the day before arrival. I did not get any Digital key before I got there, so I had to go to the front desk. I was informed at that time that due to renovations, the upper floors (where I had chosen my room) were off limits. So instead of the 3rd or 4th floor, I ended up on the 2nd. The dust from the renovations, while not directly affecting the ground floor, was still very obvious. One of the two elevators was reserved for construction personnel only, thus the public could not use it. The one remaining elevator was dirty with footprints from the dust upstairs, so those doing the reconstruction were using that elevator too. Thankfully, no noisy work was being done during my time at this hotel.
The room was spacious in accommodating my belongings, as the WiFi, TV, and HVAC worked fine (though the latter was a bit noisy). The bed was a bit soft for me, making my sleep uncomfortable. I would hope that this was the "Before", not the "After", and that the 2nd floor room I was in will someday soon also be renovated and its furniture replaced. The bathroom had adequate counter space to put down my toiletries.
Breakfast was decent, enough to get me on my way and tide me over until lunch.
Everything
The sensor on the bathroom light.
Staff and accommodations were terrific.
Some amenities -- usual breakfast seating, exercise room and pool -- were unavailable because of in-progress upgrades.

This is a nice hotel in a good area. Gone way downhill since State Farm closed. The facility isn’t maintained, such a shame
Location
They were renovating the rooms. Outside goor opened for workers do halls were very cold
The location was perfect. It was close to all the stores.
1- The pool was not good. cold water, not clean and comfortable.
2. Breakfast was not good.
3. No room service option
Nothing
Waited 20 minutes to check-in. They stated it was an issue with booking com, person at the desk had to contact the manager to override the check in process. Finally after checking in, we found out the hot tub was out of service, which is one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Placed us in a room with 3 flag poles outside. It was windy all night and the ropes and metal pulled were banging against the metal flag poles all night.
Good space, location was perfect for what we needed; Staff were very friendly; it snowed overnight and sidewalks and hotel lot cleared very quickly
Breakfast was bad, poor selection and what was available didn’t tasty great; pool was super but very cold (the maintenance staff said they had to top it up so this probably isn’t a common complaint)
