It was in the area that we needed
Being charged almost 500 for 2.nights when the bathroom. Wall had mold.om.it...the pool and hot tub were out of service and the vending machines were out of order... I could go on
Needed a room for us to stay for a funeral. Quickly booked the LaQuinta because we’ve consistently had quality experiences. Not so in Eastland, sadly. The staff is pleasant & professional - however who ever manages the property has abandoned upkeep inside & out!
The landscape is 1/2 dead, the landscaping by the handicap parking has 4 + foot weeds, and at the entrance is a freight pallet adorned w/ trash. So much for first impressions.
Inside the room, the bathroom floor is LVF and warped due to repeated water damage from the shower. The shower itself had 3 different colors of grout. The top above the shower-head was beige to match the tile. Then the same grout line was redish for a foot then black the last 12”. Unfortunately we did not discover this till the next morning or we would’ve changed rooms.
The sheets were barely on the queen beds. The fitted sheets were only 1/2 covering the mattress corners - so we had to pull the corners down before sleeping.
Surprisingly, they had two Tripadvisor awards at the front desk wall. Someone from TA may want to revisit the property …. Or better yet, someone from Wyndham corporate !!!
Hotel was fine, but pool area was closed and was informed at check-in that it had been for quite some time. Hotel had been selected so my son could swim indoors. I spent 2 days with a very upset child.
Good location off interstate. Easy in and out.
Some noise from road
Charged for a washcloth that was stained already as soon as it got wet. The linens of the bed were stained and dingy.. Hit me with a damage charge without telling me on this said wash cloth.
They did not honor the reservation and we were turned away in the night at 11pm with no were to go.
That the reservation was not honored.
Breakfast was wonderful and staff tending dining room was great.
1) Not informed that rooms were not made up until 2-3 day stay. 2) Not informed that I would have to ASK for clean towels. 3) The pillows were musty almost greasy smelling.
A quality stop. We were traveling across Texas and worn out from hours on the road. We stopped here for convenience from the Interstate and discovered that the motel was more than what we expected. There is a friendly staff, spacious, clean rooms and quiet atmosphere. If we ever come this way again, we would stay here once more.
