Superb hotel, very clean, perfect location, we only stayed one night but it gave us everything we needed and wanted.
Bar is nice, not very busy when we went in so we didn’t stay long.

Fantastic hotel and staff, couldn't have wished for a better birthday
Pros:

My husband booked me a surprise weekend away for my birthday and we had the most amazing time.
He had been in communication with the hotel for around a week previously, ensuring they put flowers in the room for the arrival.

When we arrived on the 9th jan, we were met by a lovely receptionist who welcomed us and wished us a lovely stay.
Went up to the room and wow, what a room. It was a deluxe double with balcony (room 406) and it was huge.
Had the biggest bed ive ever seen, bathroom had a bath and shower, and we had a walk in dressing room/wardrobe.

The room was clean and I had a lovely bunch of flowers, a balloon and a birthday card from the staff.

The following day my husband disappeared and came back to the room with my pressies, reception had kindly looked after them all for us so theu would be a surprise for me.

That afternoon I noticed the room was getting really cold, we asked reception for a heater and they said there had been an issue with the heating and they'd bring one up.

We went out for the evening, but up on our arrival back to our room, we opened the door and felt lovely warmth, the receptionist had only been in, and put the heater on for us so it would be warm when we came back

The next day the heat was back on so didn't need the heater. The heater was tiny, but warned the large room up more than enough.

We had breakfast twice, it was nice and the staff were welcoming, helpful and pleasant.

The hotel is literally near EVERYTHING, taxis are right outside, cavern and all the shops, bars etc are less than 5 mins away.

Id like to pass my thanks onto all the staff who made my birthday and first time in Liverpool a happy memorable one.
Thank you to the person who helped arrange things with my husband before our stay.
Thank you to the lady on reception on 9th jan in the afternoon who checked us in.
Thank you to the lady on reception on the 10th January in the afternoon who brought us up a remote control for the tv.
And a big thank you to the lady on reception on the 10th jan in the evening and 11th jan in the morning who put a heater in our room and turned it on for us.

A fantastic hotel but fix the heating!!!
Just one suggestion though, the stairs a quite dark and could do with the lights turning up a notch.
We will most definitely be back, loved it!!
THANK YOU 😊 xx

New years eve
Pros:

We stayed in the Hard days night hotel for New Year’s Eve as we had booked the Cavern. We upgraded our classic room to classic with balcony, glad we did as distant views of ferris wheel and lights. The room was enough for the two of us. I did have to phone down for the fridge that should have been in there, came within minutes.
We could have done with a few more tea bags and I asked the housekeeper she gave me a few.
I liked the idea of the cards to say room refresh etc as it does help the environment.
We had issue with key card but soon sorted.
I would say just ask and they do their best to sort it.

Best hotel in Liverpool
Pros:

One of my favourite hotels in the U.K. it’s always clean and staff are great. It’s also right next to the cavern and full of Beatles history. It’s also right had beatle themed rooms which being a Beatles but I love. We stayed for new years ever and booked the cavern NYE party.
One small blip was the breakfast which to be honest was a one off.
It just seemed all the guests rose for breakfast at the same time with our hangovers creating a massive demand for food all at the same time. They did their best and itvwas a hard situation to deal with.
Stayed here well over 10 times and will continue to do so

A cold days night
Pros:

As a massive Beatles fan I have always wanted to stay here so I was so looking forward to my stay . However I felt like it was a let down as I feel the hotel lacks atmosphere and the staff are quite plaid .our room was quite basic n cold with only one thin duvet cover to keep us warm a small heater was provided but was hardly warm ..the window in the room was filthy and there was no USB sockets n it felt really basic..breakfast next day was more of the same and if the didn't play Beatles songs you would never know the theme of the hotel. Again the staff were non plus n could hardly raise a smile or good morning and does not represent the city well as it's one of the best city's in Europe n scousers are the salt of the earth

Just ok
Pros:

Stayed for one night as last minute break, I had high expectations but they were not met, check in was ok and hotel reception was lovely however the room was quite basic and cold ( thin quilt), lighting was poor and no plugs near mirror for hairdryer etc. no glasses in bathroom and very noisy in the morning ( bin truck ) breakfast was ok. Not really much atmosphere around the hotel

Weekend away
Pros:

Walking into the hotel really impressed, receptionist slow at booking in, booked to identical rooms but was not the same, although rooms were nice , one room heating didn't work cold. Bar closed at 10pm which was a surprise, breakfast next morning was a big disappointment, food cold , coffee luke warm , overall bad experience.

A freezing days night
Pros:

An overnight stay turned into a hard days night. On checking in there was no mention of central heating problems. After contacting reception about a very cold room, they lied and said to turn heating control to max 24degrees . Upon doing this after 20minutes still no heating.
The housekeeper appeared with a small fan heater, which was totally inadequate.
After checking reviews on Tripadvisor it became apparent this had been a problem for at least 3 weeks!!
Reception should inform guests upon arrival so they can make an informed decision about moving to another hotel. Guests are being deceived .
We will obviously never be returning and would question a four star rating.

Excellent hotel, great location friendly staff.
Pros:

We have stayed here quite a few times now, and it never disapoints. Great location, big clean rooms ,staff always friendly. Nearest car park is Q park Liverpool One, literally a 2 minute walk away. Only one thing to avoid, are rooms facing Mathew Street at weekends. It can be noisy, and glass and rubbish collections are early in mornings. Apart from that this hotel is highly recommended, breakfast is great with lots of choice.

Lovely one night stay
Pros:

Amazing hotel. Very centrally located but we couldn't hear anything from the outside when going to sleep and into the morning. Room was great, had everything you needed.

Breakfast was lovely. Food was cooked really well and although the room was a little small with the tables a bit too close together, it was a nice place to eat.

Staff really friendly and the porter (who I am sure is really Father Christmas!) has a great sense of humour and certainly enjoyed his job and meeting people!

Had a slight issue regarding payment but that wouldn't put me off coming back or recommending it.
