From the minute we walked through the door we were met by a lovely member of staff called Jamie. He helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs from the restaurant entrance through to reception. Was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We then had the pleasure getting to know him more in the bar and thoroughly enjoyed his wicked sense of humour and looked after us immensely. Jamie was then on breakfast duty for the 3 mornings we were there. He was on the ball with everyone at their breakfast tables making sure everyone was ok and happy with their food and was anything else needed. We couldn’t believe he had only worked there for 4 days when we arrived! We thought he was a Manager he was that focused on customer care. We did meet the Manager on our 2nd day and he was really friendly too! The staff on reception were brilliant and said if there was anything we needed we just had to ask. Food was lovely albeit we only had breakfast and on our first day we had bar meals and we all enjoyed our food. (There was 12 of us). I would highly recommend visiting this hotel which is right in the centre of everything and the Cavern Club is literally round the corner! Thank you Jamie & Hard Days night Hotel for making our trip more enjoyable x
Hotel is in a very central location would say room in need of a little upgrade
Staff were fantastic
Breakfast was fabulous
Still feel a little bit ripped off about the view from our balcony but wouldn't stop me from staying here again
Just visited the Hard Days Night hotel with a large group of friends for an extended weekend. What a fabulous hotel/experience. The rooms were lovely and all the communal areas were clean and tidy. The bars and restaurant were great and always well staffed, great choice of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. All the staff were exceptional and so friendly. I would specifically like to mention Eric the concierge who had us all in stitches with his jokes and banter from the minute we walked through the doors. Also Jamie who seemed to everywhere, manning the bar, serving at breakfast and always with a smile on his face and friendly conversation every time we should see him. Would happily return and recommend this hotel, the staff really are an asset to the place.
We have just stayed at the Hard Days Night hotel in Liverpool. There to celebrate my 65th Birthday. What a brilliant hotel this is. Very handy for The Cavern Club(just around the corner) and Liverpool One and less than 10 minutes walk from Albert Dock.
Lovely rooms and Excellent breakfast.
The staff are all a massive credit to the hotel. All very helpfull and friendly especially Eric the concierge and Jamie who seemed to be everywhere, working so hard. Jamie was on the bar when we first arrived and then on breakfast each morning. What a lovely man. He always had a smile on his face and even remembered our names.
The hotel is very lucky to have these lovely staff. They are definitely one of the reasons that we will return to this hotel the next time we visit Liverpool. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable.

Great weekend lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff good breakfast plenty of choices. Location couldnt be better ,ill be back again soon
Disappointed to arrive to join a queue at reception with only one member of staff on duty.
Room was very cold on arrival and was told that the hotel had a problem with the heating - problem was not resolved.
Good location close to James street station and the cavern club area.
Expensive hotel for what it is and I have stayed at better hotels in the same area for less.
Excellent themed hotel in the centre of Liverpool . As a Beatles fan, it is definitely the place to stay. Super friendly staff and very nice room. I would definitely stay again!
Perfect location. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Clean, good size rooms. All essentials provided. Warm enough. Easy check out
Excellent stay with super friendly staff and yummy food! Thanks especially to Kate in the restaurant who made my birthday extra special with a lovely surprise! Such a treat and Kate was amazing. X
Lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff. We stayed in the Paul McCartney suite, which was amazing!!!
Situated in an ideal spot next to Matthew Street, so only a few minutes walk to the Cavern and a ten minute walk to the Albert Dock.
Friendly staff, fantastic location, wonderful decor and atmosphere. Lovely food in the restaurant. Will be recommending to all our friends & family
I surprised my husband with a one-night stay at the Hard Days Night Hotel, and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect.
From the moment we arrived, the whole experience felt special. The hotel is beautifully themed (a dream if you love The Beatles!) but still feels stylish and luxurious rather than gimmicky. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Liverpool, with everything on your doorstep.
We decided to treat ourselves and paid for an upgrade to a deluxe balcony room, and I’m so glad we did. The room was spacious, immaculate, and incredibly comfortable. Stepping out onto the balcony and seeing the city view made the surprise even more magical, especially at night when Liverpool was lit up. It felt romantic, exciting, and memorable all at once.
After a wonderful night’s sleep, we had breakfast the next morning and it was lovely. Great choice, fresh food, and a relaxed atmosphere to round off our stay perfectly.
This trip was meant to be a special surprise for my husband, and the Hard Days Night Hotel absolutely delivered. It turned a simple overnight stay into a memory we’ll both treasure.
We’ll definitely be back! ❤️
Excellent hotel had a brilliant 60th birthday. Eric the concierge went above and beyond to make our trip so memorable, He also has a great knowledge of the city and great stories to tell.
If you are a Beatles fan, this is your hotel and if not, too! You are in Livertpool! You are in the Cavern district! Themed, vintage hotel, full of details with friendly staff and cleanliness.
Have to say very disappointed with this hotel. Im from Liverpool and have stayed here a few times over the years. Maintenance has gone down dramatically since we were last there. Panel in room were you put key card was hanging off wall. Windows would not close properly so very drafty and noisy, no sound proofing. Breakfast time messy used tea bags over flowing by coffee machine, items not replenished. No teaspoons. Small things maybe but for a 4 star hotel I dont think so. Such a shame iconic hotel going down the drain.
Amazing hotel great staff and a amazing trip
Location was excellent hotel staff were very helpful/friendly just rooms could have been cleaner . Sink and bath holes needed attention most definitely could not miss the debris ,the breakfast was good value needed a waste bin to deposit teabags cereal wrappers etc as guests were having to leave them at side of coffee / water machine easier to avoid mess in first place at breakfast
Lovely hotel, great staff and service throughout our stay. Excellent location for getting around the city and walking distance from the train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful with every request, nothing was too much trouble even though it was a very busy weekend due the football. Would stay again and recommend to friends/family.
Superb hotel, very clean, perfect location, we only stayed one night but it gave us everything we needed and wanted.
Bar is nice, not very busy when we went in so we didn’t stay long.
Mo and Eric are valuable members of the team.
Great reception staff. Very impressed with room, spacious, quality, comfortable. We had dinner & drinks in the bar with live guitarist/singer. Delicious food & great staff. Perfect location for exploring.
