Afternoon Tea with friends .
Pros:

The Clanard Court is located just outside of Athy , making it convenient stop for visitors to the recently opened Shackleton attraction in the town. A number of those in the hotel had availed of a deal between the hotel and museum.
We chose to meet up for afternoon tea, as a treat for a friend who has been finding life a little tough at present . It was just the ticket to pick her spirits up. We sat and chatted in comfort as we enjoyed a variety of pastries and other dainties . The smoked salmon was presented on a particularly tasty “ stout” bread . I pride myself on the standard of my own scone . Those we had in the Clanard were well up to standard .
The staff are most helpful and kind .
We are pleased to have discovered a new venue, central to all 4 of us .

Amazing stay.
Pros:

I wouldn’t say it’s a kids friendly hotel. But it was lovely overall.
Easy to find location. We travelled from Dublin.

Relaxing stay with good friends in a very pleasant setting
Pros:

On our arrival the staff in reception were so welcoming and informative while brisk about their business and we were dealt with a professional and pleasant manner. The room was quite large and very welcoming and comfortable. We were on the ground floor but didn't hear any noise from both inside and outside the hotel and the bed was extremely comfortable. The underfloor heating in the bathroom felt very lush. Some of our party had bar food on arrival and the menu was varied with something to suit everybody, reasonable and the staff were helpful and prompt. The choice of breakfast was brilliant with a selection of cold breakfasts i.e. fruit, cereal, breads, cakes and yogurts and the menu for hot food was very varied and hearty. The staff in the breakfast area were also extremely friendly, courteous and informative

Cons:

There really isn't anything that I could think of that I didn't like.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

From the minute we arrived to to the minute we left it was a wonderful experience. Recently stayed at this excellent hotel for a family gathering. The staff and management were extremely friendly, helpful and very professional. Our room was perfect and extremely clean. Breakfast was right up there with the best we have ever been served. The restaurant food was delicious, plentiful and extremely well priced. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Lovely overnight stay
Pros:

We had a lovely overnight stay at the Clonard Court Hotel. We were with 4 other families/couples so it was great that we could all be facilitated at the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous and the room was very comfortable and even though our room was located on the ground floor and there were a few functions in the hotel on the night we didn't hear any noise and had a very good nights sleep. The breakfast was gorgeous with a great selection of choices both hot and cold.
