Best Western Sugarland Inn

Very attentive staff. Very comfortable beds. Shower with less water than I am used to. Problem emptying the sink. Would suggest to redo the bathroom with a more modern concept (walkin shower, better wuality countertop). Those were minors issues and the stay was overall very good.

The hotel is nice and is away from the highway so you don’t have to worry about the noise. The room was very spacious and comfortable for our group of three, and breakfast it’s great, one of the best I have had in our travels. The only negative part of our stay was the lack of working elevator during our arrival and most of our time at the hotel, luckily it was fixed the day before our departure.

The location of the hotel is just around the corner from HEB and other eating options. Nicely located right in front of a park with a water fountain. We stayed 2 nights, the entire stay was without an elevator, but we were accommodated on 2nd floor. The hotel has coffee machine and hot water for available caffeinated tea. The room was very clean, has no safe in the room so we declined housekeeping and to our surprised, after breakfast the housekeeper had come in and fixed the room leaving a very strong room deodorizer. The room has a excellent microwave and refrigerator with small freezer which came in handy. Breakfast was a good with usual pre-prepared options. Bring your own milk alternatives or gluten-free foods if needed. All was going along fine until Sunday morning at 10 minutes before 0900 a memo is placed on the door stating that the AC maintenance was scheduled to be done at 0900 and that "do not disturb signs will not be honored during this time". Oh and breakfast also ended at 0900. The breakfast staff was so kind as to allow for "Grab and Go" before they were rushing to put everything away. Odd way to end the stay.

It was a not bad stay except for elevators not working at the time, we had to climb stairs up to third floor with luggages which were extra work

Needs upkeep. Carpet was wet from the AC leakage. Bathroom door lock doesn't work.

Breakfast is mediocre, no elevator, moved a chair in room and there was a beer bottle cap under the chair, so they don’t clean well, had 2 threadbare bath towels, 2 hand towels and NO washcloths, no tissues.

There was a bug in the bath tub. The bed was comfortable, but the stitching for the bedsheets were messed up. Other than that, I had a great visit.

Everything was wonderful

Elevators were out of order both the night I stayed.
Had to reprogram Keys on 2and day.

Stayed here many times because it’s a good location for us, but this hotel is in need of upgrades, including a new elevator.
