Excellent location.

Had a good stay

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Chengdu Century City West Tower and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel has some great features that make it worth considering, though there are a few areas for improvement.

The room was fantastic—spacious with a separate lounge and bedroom, a well-designed walk-in wardrobe, and 1.5 bathrooms. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort. However, I was only able to book a smoking room, which wasn’t ideal for me as a non-smoker, but it could be a great option for smokers.

One challenge I faced was during check-in. The staff spoke very little English, which made the process a bit tricky since it was primarily conducted in Chinese. This could be an issue for travelers who don’t speak the language.

Another downside was the lack of a bar available that evening. I had to head to the neighboring Intercontinental for a drink, which was inconvenient but manageable.

On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to the convention center—perfect for business travelers.

Despite a few hiccups, I liked my stay and would consider coming back, especially for the spacious and well-appointed rooms.

メトロ駅までも歩いて10分かからないので、アクセス良好でした。

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good restaurants within walking distance.

Next day I was so rush go to airport,I just finished check out go to lobby,Miss Rebecca saw me and ask me do I need help.She called Taxi in Two mins .Finally I arrive at airport on time .Thanks for her help.

Just visit China at a bad timing during the outbreak of corona virus. Beside that, the hotel is totally good. I rent a car during the trip, the location of the hotel is close to the highway and enable easy access to both airport and high speed train station. Just a bit surprise for no free parking, not sure if it is normal since I don't have experience to stay in a hotel with car during my previous trips.

Air condition was not working on my room so change for 3 times. Almost Staffs not speak english.

Worst choice:

1. Room 1036 - extremely cold! You can’t even fall asleep at this temperature. The air conditioner is set at 30 degrees at full power but it doesn’t help as it is very old and only blows air without heating it.

2. One (!) socket in the whole room. You have to use it to plug in all of your charges + iron + kettle. The other one is in the bathroom.

3. On-going construction (there is no warning on this).

4. No sound-proofing. Was woken up by the welcome music set up on TV in the room next to mine.

Not recommended.

In the period between end of October and the middle of December, I stayed 2 times here with a total of around 7 weeks.
Rooms are fine. Except that it was always hot inside. Airco didn't bring the temperature down. For the rest there was nothing to complain. The breakfast was very extensive with a lot of choice in "eastern" and "western" dishes. For dinner I visited the Thai hotpot restaurant on the top-floor, but there is also some choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood.
And for those who want go around be public transport, the metro station (Century City / Line 1) is about 10 minutes walking from the hotel.

If by any “chance” you will have to stay in this hotel, get ready for:
- smoking smell everywhere (rooms, corridor, toilets,etc.)
- moisture smell and rotten walls
- toilet/sewage smell

In addition, the hotel is not international at all, with very local buffet and almost no English knowledge.

Advise: get a hostel room, you’ll get the same conditions but with no abused expectations and for way cheaper.

El servicio fue bueno y amable, pero es frustrante tratar de entender y que te entiendan, pues el personal difícilmente hablan ingles y mucho menos español. Recomiendo ir preparado con una app de traduccion.
Las alfombras de la habitacion estaban manchadas, aparte de eso. Pues todo bien.

空港から近く成都のテクエリアから近いホテルです

10月入住時沒有空調，房間內比較熱
但服務還是不錯

展示会に合わせて利用。建物自体は新しくは無いが、気持ちよく過ごせた。ビジネスユースには良い。

Visited Chengdu for The World Police and Fire Games and stayed at the HI Century City. Great hospitality, great food, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, live music in the bar, and most spoke or could get through some English. This hotel is located close to shopping and an extra fine green space at the end of the block. Make sur you get a NO SMOKING room.

Good hotel great staff nothing too much trouble good menus available in the restaurants in hotel quality food rooms good and fully equipped. Hotel offered good money exchange rate no need for backs top rates better than UK. Only drawback was the hotel was situated some distance from the tourist attractions but these can be easily reached by taxis and relatively cheap to use

Great spot & very convenient for access to the Convention Centre. Good restaurant facilities and lounge bar (serving good quality western & Chinese food). Helpful concierge & good English spoken by most staff. Front Office Manager Louis Liu was very helpful with rooms & organising a small evening function and Victor Li was a great concierge with excellent tips on the local area. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the nearby surrounding area & close to the subway.
