Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Camden-I20 (Hwy 521) by IHG

Did not enjoy this stay. Got in really late and just wanted to get to bed, we were only staying overnight. Room smelled bad - musty. When we woke up in the morning, I just felt gross - almost like my clothes were wet. It was just a bad experience.

After waiting 45 minutes to check in, I had to change my clothes in the lobby restroom so that I could make it to my meeting in time. The person working the desk had reservations confused, billed wrong credit cards and for an unknown reason was unable to speak up or articulate clearly. One couple in the lobby said they had been waiting nearly two hours to check in because their room “was not ready.” I never had the opportunity to check in and the lobby filled up with other people. The hotel has refused to refund my money, so I’ll be disputing the charges and reporting them to the better business bureau.

The staff and a lovely lady handling breakfast service. We’re absolutely great. The rooms had that smell of mold and mildew, yet they were clean.

But the breakfast was absolutely terrible, and the wifi barely worked. I would definitely stay again, but those aspects were disappointing.

The staff were amazing and so helpful. I couldn’t have had a better experience here. Their complimentary breakfast is insane. They have so many options from cereal to oatmillk, to sausage links to yogurt and so on.

Our room was musty smelling. Wish I had requestsed a different room when we arrived. By the morning my asthma had kicked up.

Friendly staff and comfortable room

It was very comfortable.
I think I must have been confused about housekeeping. Someone knocked on our door in the morning to clean our room. I told her we'd be there for 45 minutes. She said ok.
We passed housekeepers on our way out. When we returned late in the day, no one had touched our room. I will try to inquire about this next time we stay at this hotel chain.

The employees are exceptional! Leigh Ann and Stephanie were both very patient, professional and went above and beyond customer service. The employees in the breakfast room were also excellent. The cleaning staff were polite and helpful. Overall, we highly recommend this establishment.

Quiet, allowed late checkin, super friendly staff. The main issue was low water pressure, and no bedding for the sofa bed.

Room electronic looks did not work well in my room. Had to keep getting a new key card and finagle the card for 5 minutes or so to get in . Every time. Amazing staff and nice rooms

I liked the convience of gas stations around the area.i did not like that there was garbage found under the chase and couch in my room along with under the micowave was dirty
