If I had to choose again I would not stay there again.
Pros:

Some of the employees were very nice. There was parking close to my room. It was close to a gas station.

Cons:

The room was not the right room I paid for, it was very badly painted and it looked like that room had been a smoking room once before. You have no hot tub and the pool was cold and gross. The beds were so uncomfortable. There was holes in the sheets.

Broken washing machine and drier
Pros:

I stayed here as an IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite member, and the biggest issue was the guest laundry facility that it was effectively unusable.

The washing machine’s spin function was broken, and there was no warning sign. I only discovered it after paying ($2 per wash) and completing the wash, when my clothes came out soaking wet. A dryer only works if clothes are properly spun first, so the failure at the washer stage made everything after it a waste.

Because I needed the clothes for the next day, I had no choice but to keep trying. I paid $2 per dryer cycle, ran one cycle, still very wet. Ran a second cycle but still very wet. I then had to hand-wring the clothes (exhausting and still not enough), tried the dryer again, and even after another cycle, the clothes were still damp. At that point it was already late at night and I had spent around three hours just trying to dry clothes because the hotel equipment didn’t work.

I ended up carrying wet clothes back to my room and spreading them across chairs and tables. The next morning they were still not dry, and I had to keep rotating items over the AC vent (limited space) throughout the entire next day. The money is small, but the inconvenience and disruption were huge.

This is a basic amenity issue: equipment should be functional, and if it isn’t, guests should be warned before they pay and lose hours of their time.

Decent find in Livermore
Pros:

THE GOOD; Front desk staff was courteous and attentive; check-in was pretty easy and quick; rooms are quite spacious and clean; breakfast was pretty good and with a few choices; parking was easy; convenient location not far from main highway but safe. THE BAD: WiFi was terrible, slow and nonexistent at times; walls are a bit thin - I could hear the conversation of the next room; breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed at times - there was a large group and they couldn't restock fast enough. OVERALL: we'd stay again.

Great location and staff overall were very accommodating.

Cons:

We had a mixed experience during our two-night stay. While the staff was very understanding and accommodating, there were several issues that made our stay disappointing—especially given the price we paid and the expectations that came with it.

One inconvenience was that there was only one working ice machine, located on the third floor. More concerning, however, was that we had to switch rooms due to a significant ant problem in our original room. Ants were coming through the window seal and ended up not only in our bed but also in our personal belongings. The staff was quick to respond and did switch us to another room, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, the second room had its own set of problems. There appeared to be a circuit breaker issue that caused the refrigerator to stop working, resulting in our food going bad. None of the outlets were functional, so we were unable to charge our devices, and the TV had no signal during our stay.

Additionally, the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest.

While I truly appreciated how understanding and helpful the staff was, the number of maintenance and comfort issues made this stay fall short of expectations for the price. With better upkeep and attention to these concerns, this hotel has the potential to be much better.
