The staff was friendly and very helpful.
The shower curtain was barely attached to the wall, was sagging and the shower curtain had a hard time staying closed and seemed like the curtain was about to come loose at anytime. The Shower wall was blemished from what appeared what previous water leaks, the ceiling had incomplete repairs and the bathroom door would not lock when closed. The bathroom door veneer was coming loose. The bed was not comfortable however, I have a bad back and typically use firm mattresses. I sunk alot in this matress and full discloser and am not a small person though.
I did not stay because I wanted to swim with my grandchildren. When I found out the pool was under maintenance I canceled the reservation and was told I’d get a refund. I have not seen a refund. I will NEVER stay at another Holiday Inn. 2 yrs ago we stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Waco Texas. When I checked in the card reader rejected my card. So I used another card, only to find out later that both cards were charged. I tried calling, disputing etc only finally giving up. I never received a refund! So after both these instances I will never stay again.
Pool under maintenance. Did not find out until after reservation made. Holiday inn express has not refunded.

The woman working at the front desk was exceptional. She remembered me from a previous stay.
The room was disappointing. The carpet was stained and torn. The wall in the bathroom had holes. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room and they were trying to cover it up with excessive air freshener spray.

We picked this hotel because it had a swimming pool. Then we got there the pool was closed for repairs... Long term... Nobody informed us of that prior to the booking. Had we known we would not have reserved this hotel as we were looking for a hotel with a usable swimming pool.

They aent us to a room that already was occupied and then the room they gave us appeared as if someone was laying in the bed after it was made and staff wasn’t happy I insisted on changing the sheets. Water faucet ran constantly the whole stay never fixed it. Poor service ruined my reason for staying at HIE because they are always a good experience
Only brought towels once and never made bed etc for a 5 night stay

I need a refund because when I showed up, there was no staff member to check me in. We waited around for 30 minutes and no one arrived so I had to go book another hotel room.

Excellent service
All parts of the hotel were clean and well kept. The pool was open and clean. The staff was efficient and all were very friendly. The bathroom was well stocked and there was no problem to ask for an extra set of towels. It was such a relaxing stay knowing that everything was clean and worked perfectly.

Didn't like my card was charged twice, first for hotel amount and then again with the additional incidential amount. it put my card of the spending limit. Was told one would drop off but never had that happen before.
