The pool

Cons:

This was my first time visiting Misty Hills, as I’ve stayed there a few times before, and I’ve generally enjoyed my experiences. However, this particular stay was quite different and unfortunately disappointing.

The main issue was with the drainage. The water in both the bathtub and the shower was not draining properly. The bathtub took almost the entire day for the water to completely drain, which was extremely inconvenient.

The bathroom floor was also constantly flooded, and somehow the water seemed to spread into the rest of the apartment. I’m not sure where it was coming from, but the entire apartment ended up wet. Showering became such a nightmare that we had to place towels all over the floor just to try to keep the water under control.

I was also very disappointed with the food. I ordered fish, but it was heavily marinated with Cajun spice, to the point where the seasoning completely overpowered the taste of the fish. Honestly, it tasted more like chicken than fish. I couldn’t even finish the meal, which was really disappointing, especially considering the standard I expected from the hotel.

I think the signage could be better from the parking to the reception. It was a bit difficult to initially find the reception. But other than that, it was all amazing
