Advertise a pool but the last two times we have stayed here, the pool is closed down. So you shouldn’t advertise that you have one if it is no longer available for use. One of the main reasons people want to stay at this hotel is because it advertises a pool. A total disappointment two times now, a year apart, two different stays & still no pool.
We also had some bugs in our room, I know you can’t control a few bugs but may need to spray for bugs so that isn’t the first thing to welcome your guests. Also this time we stayed the vending machines were removed but signs for vending machines are still up. If they were removed so more people would purchase stuff from the little store by the front desk, then offer more of a variety of snacks.

Pros:

Traveled for a wedding and the staff was amazing. So helpful, kind, and caring. The bed was super firm which I didn't like so much. The room was very clean but the faucet was coming off the tub wall. The pool is being renovated which is good and bad. Good that they're working on making it better but bad because it didn't say that when I was booking and wanted to swim with my kids to wear them out before bed. The lady who ran breakfast was incredible nice, a tad overbearing when I told her she didn't need to watch my son while I made a plate. He was strapped in the high chair but she insisted (like im just supposed to trust her because she works there?) and i didnt love that. Overall very nice quick place to stay in a small town.

Pros:

Nice check in. Nice staff. Close to where we needed.

Cons:

The fact we only booked here for the pool/hot tub as advertised and it has been down since last May. Very disappointing. We could have paid a better rate elsewhere

Pros:

The front desk gentleman and the lady in charge of the breakfast area were really kind.

Cons:

You need to invest in slow closing doors that do not slam. We were awoken multiple times by door slamming. Even the exit door on our floor slams. Our room was right by the exit door. In addition to that, there was a group of student athletes there and they were very, very loud and constantly going in and out of rooms and slamming doors.

Cons:

The toilet made a loud noise after it was flushed, sounded like it was in the pipes. Also, I was unable to get the TV to work. I went to the front desk and the recommendation didn't work. I didn't follow up.

It would have been better if the amenities were as advertised.
Pros:

The people were very friendly and helpful. I did enjoy the breakfast and the cookies when checking in.

Cons:

The shower wouldn't stay on ar first. The workout room i need wifi and password for all machines, no where in the small workout room was any wifi or password available. The pic t ure showed a very large workout room. The TV didn't work in there either.

College Town Hotel
Pros:

First of all, the staff is wonderful! They welcomed the guests warmly and this is exactly what a guest wants to feel.
The breakfast was good, well stocked and with variety. The two ladies who were in charge are very helpful, pleasant and friendly.
The hotel is in the middle of redoing the pool so guests should expect somewhat of a mess. For that reason I’m hesitant to say anything about cleanliness in the halls and lobby. My guess is that after the completion the lobby carpet and the carpet leading up the stairs will be cleaned. Hallways have punched holes and several places wallpaper needs to be glued. The elevator floor is in poor condition as is the elevator door threshold. I’m sure all these details will be taken care of soon. Give the hotel a try. It is located in a vibrant college town.

Pros:

From the minute I entered the hotel, I was treated as a guest. The individuals who were in charge of my check-in ensured I immediately had a room available for my stay. There was road construction on the highway in front of the hotel, and the hotel actually had individuals working on their parking lot in the back of the hotel. Surprisingly, I was not bothered by noise.

My room was very clean, with all items I needed easily accessible. I was nicely greeted by two cleaning individuals when I headed downstairs for my breakfast, which offered guests a variety of foods!
