Sucky customer service
Pros:

I needed to cancel due to winter storm. I booked through Booking.com. I called
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Abilene Mall South, an IHG Hotel and asked if they would waive fee. They said yes. Book.com called and asked if they would waive fees, they said yes. But would not send it in writing to follow up. So I am stuck with the fees. It took me 9 calls in a row to get them to answer their phone.

The ceiling had a lot of cracks and my daughter saw crumbs and what looked like sugar ants by the juice bar at breakfast.

Check your bedding.
Pros:

Location was great.

Cons:

Room was not great at all. I had to go downstairs and get fresh sheets myself. My wife has a habit of checking all bedding and pillowcases. All pillows cases were dirty, one had boogers on it and make up. Sheets had crumbs and hair from previous guest. On of the blankets had blood stains. The tub will not drain so there’s just standing water in there as well. Luckily we are only staying one night, but this stay was not very pleasant at all.

Cons:

Couldn't raise or lower window curtain.
I'm tall and the shower hit me in my lower chest. The hand held shower head was broken and missing.
