Please note the pool will be closed for scheduled, annual maintenance from 1 April through 4 April and 5 November through 8 November.

Would stay here again if I have a chance
Pros:

Room was great, busy weekend night, loved the night shade since it’s summer here.

Cons:

Parking was troublesome, small direct lot and backup was super busy since it’s public parking and a busy tourist time

Views are amazing, breakfast a nice tough,

Fantastic location! View is outstanding! They stored our luggage and were very helpful on last day with getting our luggage to train station.

Cons:

Had requested early check in weeks before and if it was possible we would get it with an extra charge and if not they could store our luggage. That was fine. Early check in couldn’t happen as they were very busy. No problem. 2 hours prior to their check in time they started checking other people in while we were told several times they were ‘still cleaning our room’. After 2 hours and told once again that they were still cleaning the room, I said ‘how long does it take to clean a room?’ The head person said ‘ just give them one of the rooms that are ready’! We were furious! The girl that was working was very rude and kept rolling her eyes. NOT a good first impression! Other than that the rest of the stay was good.

It was okay…
Pros:

Decent location and great if you’re doing a tour with Major Marine tours as check-in is onsite

Cons:

Room was very tired and not particularly comfortable. Mis-communication from staff around the shuttle to the cruise port and when it would be available so we nearly missed our excursion leaving from there.

Liked the location but the quality of the hotel did not justify the cost.

1. Almost cold water for shower
2. Very thin and shear curtains did nothing to block morning light and I woke extremely early.
3. No bar soap or no liquid soap for shower
4. Mattress was only ok
5. Only one, slow elevator
5. Room appointments were not on par with cost of room

Premium location with amazing views if arriving by rail or leaving for a cruise.
Pros:

The convenient location near the railway station and cruise port. The wonderful view of the beautiful harbor. The bags delivered directly by Alaskan rail to the hotel. The big spacious room and extremely comfortable bed.
