Beautiful and convenient location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Location to tours
Location to boat and train
Room was huge
Chase on front desk was super helpful
Hotel lobby is the main hub for boat tours so it gets very busy with limited space. The breakfast is limited but fine although there is no ‘hotel guest’ check in so gets full with outside and boat tour people making getting a table difficult. Carpet needs replacing in the room and room had a funky smell. The shower pressure was terrible and the water temp was lukewarm warm at best. The blackout curtain was torn and had been repaired with duct tape, the aircon was so loud we had to turn it off and the outer casing of it was broken.
If I returned to Seward, I would stay in town - the hotel was overpriced when compared to other options.
We switched from a hotel in town so we could walk from cruise ship but everywhere, even Harbor 360 offered a courtesy van so it didn’t actually matter.
Perfect location! Right on the harbor where all the tours come and go! The staff was FABULOUS! They went out of their way to help people, providing superb and friendly customer service!
Cannot think of anything!
Loved the location and the staff were great!
It was pretty run down
Location for convenient
They run day trips on ships through the main lobby and breakfast area making it very congested and inconvenient to hotel guest. People on these trips take up parking for guest of hotel.
The hotel does have beautiful views of the harbor. It is in a convenient location with other restaurants. That’s where the pros end. We checked in on July 6 for two nights. The Internet was useless if you connected you dropped right out. I ended up hooking up my Starlink so I could have service. There was no daily housekeeping service provided. At $500 a night I expect that. We spoke with the front desk clerk on our first full day and requested some type of credit back because of no Internet, but of course we got nothing. Their suggestion was go down the road to their other hotel and use the lounge there. I would not stay here again.
Convenient location. Room was adequate.
Parking was awful. There's nowhere near enough on-site parking to support the hotel. The alternative auxiliary parking lot is a long way away. In the rain. Front desk staff were prominently unsympathetic.
Also, the hotel is a hub for daily marine tours and the main floor has some aspects of a bus station and not particularly suited for hotel guests.
Harborside hotel (try to get a room that overlooks the harbor). Decent breakfast buffet. Rooms were nice. Hotel is expanding. Parking is limited. Get your spot while you can. Front desk very friendly. Will store luggage for you if going on a Major Marine tour (their check-in desk is at the hotel). Walking distance to several restaurants.
The hotel has great views and a convenient breakfast bar and the beds were comfortable . We were there June 24-26.However, the Internet was down more often than not and I had to log in and several minutes later lose the connection and have to log in again. When I asked the front desk they seemed unconcerned and said they were working on. It never happened. We had better Internet at a remote hotel outside Denali, and for a tourist town like Seward for a hotel do not have working is hard to accept or understand. We had some takeout from a local restaurant and put it in the refrigerator. When we checked several hours later, the refrigerator was not plugged in and turned on. I had to move the bulky furniture away from the wall to plug it in it then started working. A third problem was the HVAC unit was leaking when he came into the room.
Front desk staff was very helpful. We were able to utilize the free hotel shuttle from the cruise port which was great! Also loved that we were able to leave our bags with the front desk and they took care of transporting them to the train station - very nice touch!
hot tub, proximity to town, comfy pillows
room was on first floor, harbor side with daily tour boats leaving which were loud and we could not keep the windows open at any time because of all the traffic outside
Location, location, location. For what I needed to do in Seward, this location was great
One (slow) elevator and no steps. So the one elevator was the way to enter and exit.
Breakfast was busy but wonderful and a nice variety. Service was fast to keep foods filled.
Room was big and very comfortable.
Location was perfect, by the water and very close to the ship we were taking a cruise on the next day.
Luggage was even transported for us!
Price could have been a bit less.
Property is located by small boat harbor. Close to tour boats, shopping and great seafood restaurants.
Serves a very good breakfast also!
The location and harbour view room was lovely
The reception staff could be a lot more helpful and cheerful when checking in.
Breakfast was very poor we went across to the bakery as it was so disappointing.
