Im a comedy promoter who just opened a comedy club downtown Elkhart.. ( Laughing at The
Lexington Comedy Club) .. we bring national touring Comics and booked 2 rooms for our Feature and Headliner. Both said that the service and rooms when very nice

Horrible experience except for check in lady. Will never stay here again.
Pros:

No breakfast was offered or was not told were it was. when making a reservation I asked if early check-in was available. Was told yes. When I arrived was told early check-in not available because only one person was cleaning rooms. This was a Notre Dame game day, management should have insured they had enough help. Several other customers were waiting for early check-in as well. No managers were on property only the check-in person, who said they left before guests arrived. What a terrible impression of the property.

Pros:

Staff was very nice and helpful. We were assigned a room that was obviously used by people with pets. It smelled pretty bad. Staff came and sprayed and did their best to help. It stilled smelled when we returned from dinner later that night and then when we returned the next evening too. Would suggest letting people choose if they would be ok with a pet room. To us, it was similar to having stayed in a smoking room. We would not have chosen it. But the hotel and our room was very clean otherwise. Walkable to bar/restaurants.

Pros:

Great stay! The 2nd shift front desk lady needs to listen to guest request better (my wife asked for a room closer to the laundry room when checking in and we were not close at all) but overall, we were very pleased.

Night Staff was very difficult and not user friendly

Cons:

Was say I couldn't stay with a pet even though I had a reservation. Said 1st floor was full and owners didn't want dogs on another floor. There was another customer in same situation. After 1 hour was finally given a room on 2nd floor.
