Great room, terrible staff member

The lady at the front desk was very presumptuous. Ive stayed at many many hotels. Including 5 star locations. She was very offensive and judgemental. I was there for a graduation in the next town over. I had gifts for my daughter that I took out after checking because I didnt want them to get seen when she arrived for her room. Upon bringing them in, she made sure to tell me I wasnt allowed to have parties in the room after already being told we were going to a graduation. I was there with my 4 year old and my elderly grandmother. We dis not give off any reason to think we were having a party. My daughter arrived late after getting her hair done and told me she was very rude to them and over the top. After I purchased the third room for the night. Spending over $600 for less than a 10 hour stay. After we checked in she told as long as we acted like adults we would be treated like adults. Assuming that we would some how be a problem. All we wanted to do was rest after a long day. It was very offensive being that I was kind and manner able. Making assumptions about people is disgusting. Especially since this particular staff member has zero class in comparison. She takes her job extremely over the top and should only address a problem when there is a reason to. Not offend your paying guests by assuming they will be a problem. I spent more than her weekly paycheck in just one day and will choose to some where else next time due to her rude comments. She also gave me a hard time about purchasing a glass of wine at 11 when the law is no cool after midnight in clewiston. Then decided to sell it to me after I said wow, it's still early. She needs better training on guest services. We are the ones who keep the doors open. She cannot handle any ounce of authority and should be reconsidered for that position. She is possibly better suited in house keeping. Scrubbing toilets and unseen. I was so happy with the room and place in general.

One if the nicest places I've stayed.... Exceptional for a farm town like Clewiston.
