Pros:

The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Too noisy , did not get a good nights sleep due to road traffic.

This was a perfectly satisfactory one-night stay while visiting family. No comment the endless rain

The room was fine in all respects; functional but comfortable and clean

Cons:

Nothing in the price range. I thought that the hotel was good value for money. All was a bit plasticky but this is a chain and one must expectt standard provision. it was up to standard

Pros:

Location good. We walked only 15 minutes to the venue, in St Johns, very near city cenre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in quick. Room was very clean. Bed comfy. Hot water and good air con. Breakfast plentyful - good quality, tasted nice although we went down late for breakfast so food was a little dry

Cons:

Guiness was in a can. Would have prefered tap. We had a meal in the resturant. Food was good but we had to wait a long time - apparently staff shortages. However the staff serving were very apologetic and understood why we couldnt wait.

I’m very disappointed with both Holiday Inn and Booking.com

Cons:

I booked a standard room and selected the twin bed option as I was travelling with my son. On arrival I was told there were no twin rooms available and I had to pay £150 extra to get a room with a sofa bed. They said it was Booking. Com fault for not making it clear. They had Starbucks coffee at the bar but the staff didn’t know how to make some of the drinks on the menu, the latte was cold and the cup was dirty. The staff member actually argued that it wasn’t dirty when she gave it to me!

Wasn't expecting to have to pay a deposit on arrival and wasn't told when to expect the deposit to be paid back either (still waiting).
