Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.
Pros:

We checked in after dinner. The night manager was a very nice and friendly man. He shared some information about the area and I enjoyed talking with him. The facility has been recently redone and the inside is much nicer than the outside dated appearance. Rooms are very clean with new carpet, furniture, bathrooms, etc.. Coffee maker and refrigerator were a nice feature and a bottle or two of water would have been a nice plus.

Cons:

Outside conditions; they don’t necessarily impact the quality of the stay but they do set expectations and I suspect most people gravitate to the other newer hotels as a result.

Overall it was decent but slightly overpriced.
Pros:

It was clean, enjoyed the pool and hot tub, location was near places we wanted to shop and eat.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn’t hot, the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, and the bath tub drain stop wouldn’t hold back water so my wife couldn’t take a tub bath.

The kitchen staff gal was super kind to me yesterday morning. She washed my kiddos milk cups out and was just the sweetest!

We also appreciated the adjoining room’s convenience.
