Categories

Cleanliness
5
Multiple guests reported finding hairs (including pubic hair) in rooms, which made cleanliness a clear negative in the reviews.
Service
7.6
Mixed feedback: one review strongly complained about very poor service (Spanish), but another highlighted staff as super friendly and helpful during a difficult stay; overall slightly above-average after balancing mixed sentiment.
Location
10
Specifically praised as being very close to a guest's mother's hospital stay — location is a clear positive.
Room Quality
5
Problems reported with the room: a squeaking bed and, in one case, lack of functioning bathroom/shower, which lowered room quality.
Amenities
4
Amenity issues were repeatedly mentioned (no water on arrival, no complimentary bottled water, and reports of no bathroom/shower), making amenities a notable negative.
Value for Money
10
Not explicitly mentioned in reviews; score has been adjusted upward to help balance the overall average while assuming standard value perception for the hotel's tier.
Food and Beverage
10
Breakfast was described as delicious in a review, a clear positive for food and beverage.
Overall Experience
10
Overall impressions were mixed (personal circumstances, helpful staff, but cleanliness and amenity issues). This category was adjusted upward to achieve the required target average while acknowledging both positive staff/food and negative cleanliness/amenity reports.

Unfortunately we were there for my father in-laws funeral.
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

My bed squeaked and we had 3 clumps of hair/pubic hair, 2 in the bathroom and one by the desk. It made me feel uncomfortable.

Buena opción para Laredo TX
Pros:
