I’d stay elsewhere next time
Pros:

Convenient to the boat to Channel Islands NP.

The building is older and felt musty and although the surfaces were clean, there was a mildew smell in the bathroom. The hallways outside had an oddly rickety feel. Breakfast was

Pretty good but could have been much better
Pros:

Bed was comfortable. AC was very quiet, something I greatly appreciated. Room was spacious. Hotel was quiet.

Cons:

Draperies in room were impossible to open without yanking on the fabric. The one small window was hard to get to and only opened a few inches so it was impossible to enjoy the fresh sea air. There was a noticeable odor of tobacco smoke in the hall outside the room for 2 days. Although I notified the front desk, the problem remained. The breakfast was mediocre. The pool was not available.

Great getaway!
Pros:

Wonderful breakfast, great location and staff

Cons:

I liked everything but having to use key to open all entrances. But I do understand it keeps all rooms safe.

My stay was wonderful
Pros:

The location was great at the Harbor everything was in reach restaurant and entertainment. The Hotel itself very clean and well kept up. The staff at the hotel friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and very helpful. My overall stay was great

Definitely not worth the money. Consider somewhere in downtown Ventura for half the price.
Pros:

View of the harbor was nice and room was spacious.

Cons:

The balcony light would not turn off, the A/C didn’t work, the room refrigerator was off when I arrived and took hours to cool down, could also hear every step taken in the room directly above. Additionally, the room was directly across from the building’s electrical room housing several large A/C units. The noise was very loud and the door had to remain open (per the sign on the door). Assuming this was due to over heating issues. The thin walls and door meant I had to hear the electrical hum/buzzing through the night.

Nice hotel but air conditioning wasn’t good. Bathroom tubs drain was very poor and bottom of shower overflowed.
