Lovely staff
Parking a bit of an issue
Clean
Good location and parking. Very good value.
No furniture with drawers in the room. Breakfast good for the price although scrambled eggs poor quality.
It was clean and cosy
My room was noisy with noise from the outside area and the staff member was quite rude upon my arrival
Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast. Room clean and comfortable.
Only slight negative was the dinner menu - felt it was limited on healthy options.
Room was adequate.
Bed was too hard.
Friendly staff, great location
Nothing
Great location
No working television in the room. Having to pay for parking
Friendly staff
A bit of a walk to get to the town, in very heavy downpours.... Not your fault the weather was crap 🙄
The staff were friendly although we were lied to by one member of staff who told us we were being upgraded. The breakfast was good.
We were initially pleasantly surprised with our room - it was large with a small sofa and had tea/coffee making facilities, however, the walls were very thin and we could hear the couple next door talking to each other. Then, just before 6am, we heard doors banging every minute or so and this went on for hours. When we went down for breakfast, we worked out that we must have been above the kitchen.
We then asked politely if it was possible for us to move to a different room for our 2nd night. The lady at the desk was very helpful and, after some searching on the system, said she would move us to an upgraded room on the floor above and on a different side of the hotel. We repacked our belongings and left it with the hotel staff to move our cases to the new room. When we returned to the hotel in the early evening, we went to our new room which was smaller than our original one (despite supposedly being an upgrade) and found that the Aircon/heating wasn't working and there was a massive draft through the windows which was enough to make the heavy curtains move. There was a moderate breeze outside but it sounded like a hurricane as the wind howled and whistled through the ill-fitting window.
All in all, 2 poor night's sleep and very poor value for money at a hotel chain which I had previously trusted.
Do yourselves a favour and stay at the Travelodge (less than half the price) where some friends stayed and had no problems at all.
Very smart, great location, very. Lean, nice staff, good breakfast
Nothing
The location and easy to find, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff
The bathroom was very small and I am glad I am a small person!
No evening meals available despite reception staff stating that there was evening food available but only toasties and pizza were available
